I received an insert that shows some of my new items along with pro tips.
It shows the items from both subscription levels and listed social media sites to get more ideas.
My items were tucked into shredded paper and some of them were wrapped with bubbles to keep them safe.
Everything in my box! I am reviewing Habitation Box I, and want to let you know that level II comes with two other items (a mini dough bowl and tin house candle holder).
Swivel Chalkboard I had to do a little assembly work on this item, but believe me, it was a piece of cake. This item looks different from the spoiler shown on Instagram, which had a tall sign rather than a wide sign, and you can also see the other sign on the paper insert shown earlier in the review. It turns out the taller vertical sign is for level II, while the wider horizontal sign is for level I.
It’s absolutely adorable! It stands about 9″ high at its highest point, and about 12″ wide from knob to knob. The side shown (bronze edges facing me) is a chalkboard so you can write and erase as much as you like, just make sure to use erasable chalk!
“Let’s Stay Home” Sign Well, I think this is timely although I know it’s not Covid related. It’s more about being cozy in the comfort of one’s home, although I could use a little beach vacay right about now.
The sign is 5″ square and 1.5″ deep. The inner plaque is in the middle of the box and the exterior has a rustic, aged look with whitewash paint over the brown wood. There is a metal hanger on the back so it can be placed on a wall, or set it on a bookcase or table.
Baby’s Grass Wreath I’ve never heard of baby’s grass before so I don’t know if that’s the style or if it’s the name of an actual plant. The wreath has faux plastic greenery that has a delicate, small leaf size. Some of the leaves have a hint of red on them.
The greenery is attached to an actual grapevine wreath base that measures 8″ across. It’s a beautiful wreath and I think it looks pretty realistic.
Decorative Bead Garland It’s going to be fun looking for a place to drape this garland! It’s 60 inches long (5 feet) and there are twine loops on each end so I can affix it to a mantle. The beads are about 1/2″ long and have a glossy finish. I have a beautiful bowl from France and I think this would also look lovely coiled up inside.
I was so happy with the items I received in my very first Habitation Box! Keep in mind that this is Level I and if you are signed up for level II then your items may vary. I really prefer the rustic, country farmhouse vibe that this box delivered and think the pieces will work well in my home. The wreath is my favorite item, it looks so realistic and I think my home can use some greenery. I’m updating my living room and these pieces are perfect to go with my new couches!
