I received a card with background info on the featured brand for June, Grace & Stella:

Here at grace & stella, our mission is to create feel good moments through exception beauty. We believe in delivering exceptional, high quality, vegan and Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free products that work. At the end of the day, we’re here to make you feel good.

The back of the card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. Check out the #pearltip for additional info.

Everything in my June 2020 Pearlesque Box! We received 6 items from this brand!

Grace & Stella Foot Mask Original ($20) Can you believe I have never used a foot peeling mask? I usually get a pedicure but I haven’t had a salon pedicure in months so my feet are in need of this.

Follow the directions carefully and in about 10 days feet should look brand new! I have a cut on my foot so I won’t be able to use this until it heals but I am looking forward to it. I have no plans to go to the pool or pretty much anywhere in the next couple of months so I think this is my chance to see if it works as promised without worrying about anyone seeing my peeling feet!

Grace & Stella Rescue My Hair Mask ($9) I use a clarifying shampoo once a week and follow it with a deep conditioner so I gave this a try and it left my hair soft and easy to comb. It also didn’t weigh it down afterwards.

The website says to leave it in for 5 minutes and that was what I did, although you could leave it in longer if you like. It has argan oil and sunflower seed oil and has a nice floral scent thanks to perfume.

Grace & Stella Dead Sea Mud Mask ($9) Mud masks may be especially helpful in the summer for those with oily skin since the clay helps draw oil out of the pores.

This products has kaolin clay plus Dead Sea mud, shea butter, and jojoba oil. Apply to your face after cleansing and wait 10-15 minutes before rinsing. I didn’t notice any scent with this product. It also didn’t feel super drying and never got tight like some clay masks I have tried.

Grace & Stella F balm Cleansing Balm ($24) I always enjoy using a good cleansing balm as a first step in removing makeup and sunscreen at the end of the day.

Ingredients include synthetic beeswax and polyethylene and correct me if I’m wrong but that means it is made with plastic. I checked it out with EWG and it says that it isn’t suspected of being an environmental toxin, yet it is what microbeads are made of.

The cleanser had a scoop on top.

I applied the balm to my hands and let it emulsify before putting it on my face. It was very oily but this is one of those cleansers that as soon as you add water, it turns milky and washes off easily. I had no problems rinsing and then followed with my regular cleanser to make sure every trace was removed.

Grace & Stella Konjac Facial Cleansing Sponges ($15) Konjac sponges are very natural, since they come from a plant!

Make sure to soak the sponge in water first, and you will feel it soften and expand, ready to be used. The box says to remove makeup first and while you can use it with a cleanser, it will last longer if you don’t. Rinse well afterwards and hang to dry. It has a string on it so you can do that easily.

There are two different colors so you can use one in the morning and one in the evening, or just use it once a day and save the other sponge to use when the first one gets worn.

Grace & Stella Blackhead Removal Kit ($15) Next up is a blackhead removal kit.

Directions were on the back of the box and I must say, I’ve never owned anything like this before.

The implements came in a cool looking box.

The super pointy one came with a removable cover.

They are made of stainless steel and feel heavy in my hands. The item on top has looped ends and you pick the size you need and I guess draw it over the blackhead and hopefully the gunk will come out of the pore.

This is the curved tweezer extractor, and it is sharp. I have always been told not to pick at my face and while I’m not sure I’ve obeyed 100% of the time, keep in mind that these items could do harm if you are overzealous. Make sure to clean the items with rubbing alcohol before and after using.

Pearlesque aimed to spoil us this month by sending 6 products! I have mixed feelings about this brand though. Pearlesque sends “Luxury Organic Skincare From Around The World” but if you go back and look you will see all of these were made in China, which doesn’t say luxe to me. I feel like the June box was a little different from the usual brands Pearlesque sends, and I think July’s box looks much better and features Scentuals. The value for the June box was around $92!
