Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription. You get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and hair care items in a cute bag for $12 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands that you may have never heard of, as well as some of the bigger names. Ipsy also offers a Glam Bag Plus for $25 a month and Glam Bag Ultimate for $50 a month.

IPSY was founded on a singular mission: to inspire individuals around the world to express their unique beauty. Everything we do is to support you on your journey to self-discovery, so you’ll feel confident letting your unique beauty shine every day.

Most of my items were inside the cute makeup bag but make sure to double check the mailing bag, sometimes larger items (like makeup brushes) can be found there.

The theme for the June bag is Make Waves!

The inside reminded us that we need to wear SPF, especially when more skin is exposed to the sun.

Every subscriber has the opportunity to choose an item for their bag.  The back of the card mentioned that you can choose an item for your July bag on 6/24, but make sure to check the app because sometimes it happens a few days earlier. Want a chance to win? Follow the instructions on the card!

Everything in my box! Some of the items came in their own boxes, but you can find instructions for use and ingredients on the Ipsy app and website.

Ipsy Glambag The Glambag for June has a summery design.

The zipper pull says Ipsy! The bag is about 7″ x 5″ and looks like it would be easy to wipe clean.

The inside is lined with yellow polyester fabric.

Color Club Nail Lacquer in Catwalk ($8.50) Time to paint those toenails for sandal season! Sadly I just did my own pedicure the day before I got my bag so this will need to wait another week or so before I use it but I can’t wait!

The color is a cool red and it is a classic! I wear this color year round on my toes.

Kensie Body Lotion ($2.64) I think this body lotion had the perfect amount of scent for my nose: not too strong, not too light.

My skin absorbed the lotion quickly and the scent lasted for a couple of hours. It has notes of peach, oakmoss, and musk and it smells a tad sweet, but mostly warm and earthy, and I wouldn’t mind having a bottle of perfume with this scent.

Juliet Has A Gun Vanilla Vibes Eau De Parfum ($10) I love trying new perfumes, and this one works really well for summer but also into fall. It has notes of sea salt and vanilla with a hint of musk. It smells like a beachy scent but not necessarily like sunscreen. Vanilla is just a touch sweet, but the warmth it provides is stronger. I gave it a value based on a full-sized bottle but a bottle just slightly larger than this retails for $28 on the Sephora site.

INMO Velveteen Dream Shadow in Kween Bee ($9) I liked the shimmer that this shadow provided. It’s a bit much for my entire lid, but a dab in the corners and first half of my lid gave just the right amount of sparkle.

I applied this golden shade with my finger, and it was soft and perfect for summer and will work just as well in the cooler months, when I like some extra sparkle for the holidays.

Sugar Cosmetics Matte As Hell Lip Crayon in #15 Stephanie Plum ($18.74) I prefer a matte lip and this one and done lippie is perfect for busy days, and for days when it’s too hot to do much.

I had to google Stephanie Plum and it reminded me that she is a character in a novel, and was played by Katherine Heigl in a movie adaptation.

Add a dash of drama by swapping your classic nudes with Stephanie Plum. This mauve-meets-plum shade adds just enough chutzpah push your lip game to a whole new level!

It was easy to apply and easy to get the color payoff I wanted. I think this is darker than what I would normally wear but I liked doing up a smokey eye to go with it.

Swatched on top is the lip product and the gold eye shadow is on the bottom.

I really enjoyed the products I received in my June Ipsy Glam Bag! The variety was excellent: I received a perfume, a body lotion, nail polish, and two makeup items. It kept things interesting! These items will be around for a while, and everything but the lotion will last for more than a month. I can’t even pick a favorite, they were all good, but I especially liked the lotion, lip color, and nail polish. The value for my assortment was around $48.88, not including the bag itself. What a great bag this month!
