I know you are SO excited to receive our summer box and we are eager to ship it to you when our quarterly shipping window starts soon! Note: If you or a gift recipient aren’t receiving a box this quarter – e.g. you skipped this season – feel free to ignore this email.
I just wanted to update everyone that we hit a snag with the SKRP sunglasses that were going to be featured in the Summer box. Even with all of the paperwork submitted and the box shipped well beforehand, the FDA is refusing to let them pass customs from Canada and will be delaying too long, so I’m *really* sad to say that we won’t be able to include them this season so we have to switch suppliers. Chris, the founder of SKRP, is also saddened by the situation since he wanted to make something special for you all. On the upside he will instead be creating something else for an upcoming box!
If you were excited about receiving sustainably-made plastic-free sunglasses, don’t worry! We’re now featuring another awesome eco-conscious sunglasses designer and maker in the box: Cameron Christian, the founder of WUDN based in Hidden Springs, Idaho. His sunglasses are all handcrafted with sustainably-sourced wood form FSC-certified forests and UV-400 100% polarized lenses that are scratch resistant and anti-glare. The sunglasses that will be featured in the box are a mix of black walnut wood with smoke black bio-based acetate frames that are biodegradable and recyclable. These stylish eco-luxe lenses are a fantastic accessory for catching some summer sun!

We are so excited to reveal the first spoiler for our Summer box! This gorgeous upcycled necklace is handmade using scuba parts by renowned leader in the diver community, inductee into the Women Divers’ Hall of Fame, and artisan Szilvia Gogh at Gogh Jewelry!
This necklace is part of her Zero Waste Project Collection, which repurposes normally discarded bits of scuba gear to create beautiful and wearable one-of-a-kind pieces. In addition to the scuba parts, it also has a pretty Amazonite stone.
We also have the latest shipping update for the Summer 2020 box! Boxes will ship one week later than usual shipping schedule.

Due to this last minute hiccup, we’ll be shipping out Summer boxes one week later than our usual shipping window (shipping for current members will now be June 22nd-26th). I’m so so sorry for this delay and tried everything I could to speed things along as fast as possible. We ship via USPS Priority, so the box should arrive between 1-3 days from the shipping date in the US (due to COVID-19 some USPS distribution centres are shipping a little more slowly). For Canada, the box usually arrives 1-2 weeks after we ship and may be subject to customs fees. You’ll receive a tracking code in a separate email when your box is en route. As a thank you for your patience, we’ll be adding another bonus item for all of you
Gift Orders
If you purchased the Summer box as a gift order and the shipping is time sensitive (e.g., you need it to arrive before a certain date), please get in touch with us ASAP and we can put together a gift box with items from past boxes instead if you prefer. These will ship out the next business day.Changed Addresses?
If you have recently moved, please take a moment to double check your box renewal email to make sure your box will be going to the right place. If you’ve changed your address on the website after the renewal date, the system doesn’t update the existing box order. Get in touch with us and we can update the Summer box to your new address.As we’ve had an uptick in wrong addresses entered, we can no longer do complimentary re-shipping if you get your address incorrectly (so please double check!).
Late Ship List
If you are away during ship week, we have a “late shipping” list and will be shipping those boxes on July 2nd. If you would like to ship your box a little later due to timing, get in touch with us and we can make that happen!
