The Detox Box focuses on green and natural beauty. It’s a beauty subscription from The Detox Market, with each box featuring one or more green beauty products from the featured brand of the month. They promise at total retail value of at least $90 in every box. A monthly subscription costs $55, with significant monthly discounts if you select a 3-month or a 6-month subscription. On a six-month plan, this box is only $39.95 per month!

As you open the box, you will find feel-good messages from The Detox Box.

The items were wrapped in white tissue paper and sealed with a sticker.

The products are cushioned with white squiggles.

Instead of featuring a single brand, this time, they featured several eco-friendly brands and items. The theme is SUSTAINABLE SWAPS!

Happy Earth Month! This box is your starter kit to reduce waste and live more sustainably, incorporating these everyday essentials feels effortless, but has a big impact on your carbon footprint over time.

The info card explains the reason for choosing the featured product in the curation.

Everything in my box!

Baggu Standard Reusable Bag ($12) It’s a cute reusable bag that can be used in place of single-use plastic. This is perfect to bring when traveling, when going to the grocery store, or even for simply carrying your essentials on a daily basis.

The bag is pretty sturdy. It’s made with 100% ripstop nylon (40% of which are recycled) and it can hold up to 30 lbs worth of items!

It also came with a pouch for easy storage when not in use, as the bag folds flat to save space!

This tote is designed in such a way that you can easily put it over your shoulders or carry it by hand.

The design I got is really cute! The yellow background is vibrant so it’s easy to spot. It also features a melon illustration!

F.E.T.E. Bamboo Toothbrush ($4.99) Here’s another eco-friendly item, a bamboo toothbrush. Colors may vary per box. Mine is in yellow which matches my tote!

The bristles are not quite soft and this was honestly too harsh for my mouth. The handle is made of bamboo which is known for its anti-bacterial properties, so it keeps your toothbrush clean and odor-free. It’s also biodegradable.

Davids Premium Natural Toothpaste ($9.95) I love how refreshing this toothpaste is and it happens to be my husband’s favorite. It has that peppermint flavor and cooling sensation without the sting!

The ingredients are naturally sourced and the toothpaste is made in the USA. The formula is fluoride-free with a natural whitening effect that also gives fresher breath!

Meow Meow Tweet Rose Geranium Baking Soda Free Deodorant Stick ($14) The deodorant stick was packaged in a cute box. It’s free from baking soda!

It contains some certified organic ingredients such as coconut oil, arrowroot powder, cocoa seed butter, shea fruit butter, and palmarosa oil.

I love how it came in a compostable paper packaging that’s truly eco-friendly. The tube doesn’t retract though, so you have to be careful in pushing out the product. The deodorant itself is great. It has a fresh scent that I like and it leaves me feeling clean all day. To use, just push a small amount of product and apply it to each armpit. A thin layer would be enough.

BKR Spiked Water Bottle 500 ml ($42) This edgy water bottle sure is a scene-stealer!

The spikes are a fun way to amp up a water bottle. It’s unique and I love it. Despite the design, this is actually comfortable to hold.

It’s easy to clean! Since the lid has a loop, I can easily attach this to my bag to go hands-free. Also, 500ml is a good amount of water to have in handy! I also love how this bottle doesn’t make my water taste funny unlike other water bottles!

Odacité 552M Shampoo Bar ($29) I love shampoo bars like this one. They’re amazing because they help eliminate the need for plastic bottles, and we still get the same effect from liquid shampoos!

To use, just rub the bar on wet hair, lather, and rinse. Formulated with argan and coconut oils, this shampoo not only cleanses your hair but it also promotes strong and healthy hair growth. It’s good for 50-80 washes!

The Detox Box certainly did a good job this month, as they focused on sustainable products just in time for celebrating Earth Month, but it was certainly different from their normal curation – which is only beauty products. The box had everything from personal hygiene care to reusable items, reminding us that there are sustainable options for the items we use daily. Switching to eco-friendly products may seem like a small step, but it helps greatly in saving the planet! This was a well-thought-out box for what it was and I’m fairly pleased, but I probably would have preferred a full set of high end beauty products, as normal.

Super review, Brandy! I wish I would have gotten this box because I would use everything. I love the water bottle. I’ll keep this sub in mind for the future.
