There are over 450 fragrances to choose from and Scentbird adds new ones every month! You can save when you purchase a multi-month subscription, or even arrange to receive perfume every other month. Keep in mind that some fragrances and other items may have an upcharge of up to $15 in addition to the subscription cost.

Scentbird is about the fun and magic of fragrance. We designed Scentbird for the pickiest girl- or boy- to let you date luxury perfumes before marrying them.

When you sign up, you can fill out a quiz so Scentbird can provide you with some suggestions. There are only 5 questions and you can take the quiz as often as you like. You can place both men’s and women’s scents in your queue too and of course there are lots of unisex scents available. You can also fill the queue with whichever fragrances you prefer and keep in mind that if your queue is empty, you will receive the Fragrance of the Month. The Perfume of the Month for June is Dream by Catherine Malandrino.

Everything in my box! My scent was placed in a cardboard tube to keep it safe during shipping.

I received a card about my chosen fragrance.

Scent notes and ingredients were listed on the back of the card.

Arquiste Sydney Rock Pool Eau De Parfum ($195 for 100ml) I have had this scent in my queue for a while and thought summer would be the perfect time to wear this fragrance. It turned out that I was correct, this is a beautiful summer scent, and it would smell good any other time of the year too.

This is a unisex woody floral musk and while it smells like a day at the beach, it is thankfully missing that overdone Coppertone sunscreen note. It’s creamy and warm, fresh, and a mix of clean and dirty. It reminds me a bit of Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume, with that strong amboxan musk scent that is both clean (they use it in laundry detergent) and dirty (it’s modeled after whale vomit!).

When you look at a scent on the Scentbird site, you can see the scent notes, what others thought of it, and find similar scents. Most Scentbird users who rated this scent thought it was woody and clean, perfect for summer and date night. Projection and longevity were both pretty good, and I got a good couple of hours of scent before it turned into a skin scent, causing me to sniff my arm at weird times. It lasts a long time on fabric so if you catch your neckline you will smell it all day.

Scentbird vials hold 8ml, or 0.27 ounces of fragrance. This is enough for two sprays a couple of times a day for the whole month. You get a holding case with your first order and you can order different colored cases on the Scentbird website.

Place the vial in the holder…

…then twist and push down until the sprayer is hidden.

Then twist back up to expose the sprayer!

I am smitten with my new fragrance from Scentbird! I love this scent, it is unusual and yet comforting. It is supposed to smell like skin at the end of a day at the beach, my favorite kind of day. The scent lasts a good amount of time before fading and I will reach for it again and again this summer, it is such a super scent. Scentbird frequently adds new scents to their lineup and with the ability to choose skincare, makeup, and other items then it is also very flexible.
