The box design is so cute! It’s filled with flowers!

The items were wrapped in a peach tissue paper.

This month, our theme is WOMEN ARE POWER.

At the back, there are brief details on each item as well as the price if you were to buy the full size.

There’s also a card that introduces the Female Founder Collective.

In honor of their partnership with Female Founder Collective, they featured FFC members and why women from Birchbox admire them!

Everything in my May 2020 box!

Rael Collagen Sheet Mask ($3.20) I love how refreshing this face mask is! It also makes my skin feel really soft after use! Each pack contains 1 sheet, which is made from soft bamboo yarn and packed with botanical ingredients. According to the packaging, it’s also free from parabens, mineral oil, artificial fragrance, artificial dye, PEG, alcohol, silicon, benzophenone, phenoxyethanol, and talc.

It has anti-aging properties that reduce the appearance of fine lines, making the skin look younger and smoother. To use, put it on for 10-20 minutes, then remove and tap the excess essence into your skin. The scent is light and refreshing, which is a big plus for me!

Lawless Beauty Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick ($25) The liquid lipstick came in a nice pull-out packaging!

According to the packaging, it doesn’t contain parabens, phthalates, PEGs, mineral oil, sulfates, aluminum, chemical fragrance, silicons and petroleums. It’s also cruelty-free!

We got the shade called Jake. You can find the shade name at the bottom of the tube.

It’s a very pretty dusty rose with a hint of lilac. This is a good everyday lippie! The formula is creamy and I love that it’s very long-wearing. The pigmentation is amazing and it dries down to a soft matte finish.

Arrow Nourishing Lip Oil – Color Enhancing Pink ($6.86) This nourishing lip oil works wonders on my lips! It leaves a light pink stain that looks natural on my lips. It also adds shine to the lips without the tacky feeling. This is a great way to keep your lips soft and hydrated! It’s formulated with coconut oil and shea butter that moisturizes, softens and protects the lips, giving you that perfect pout every time!

Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment ($10.63) I love non-abrasive exfoliators and this one is a new discovery that I am growing to love! The formula contains lactic acid that is known to improve skin tone and reduce pore appearance.

This exfoliating treatment is ideally used 1-2 times a week. Just apply a thin layer on your face and massage it for 30 seconds before leaving it on for 2 minutes, then rinse and pat dry.  It’s a little thicker than other products I’ve tried but I think that’s what make this work. I like how it exfoliates my skin, taking off the dead skin cells to reveal radiantly smoother skin.

Saint Jane Luxury CBD Beauty Serum ($12.50) The feel of this serum is so silky and luxurious but it’s still lightweight when applied on the skin, which is really amazing! It contains a blend of full-spectrum CBD, sea buckthorn berry, and calendula. Those ingredients work together to reduce redness, smoothen skin, and combat signs of aging. It’s ideally used after cleansing, just get a half to a full dropper of serum and then gently pat into your skin.

Wander Beauty Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara ($26) The bristles of this mascara wand does a great job of fluffing the lashes, making it look volumized! It also gives that fanned out effect that I like. The black pigment is smudge-proof and it even has ingredients like castor seed oil and trehalose that nourish and strengthen the lash hairs!

There’s a good mix of products in this box! From skincare to make-up, Birchbox has got us covered! Not to mention, I got more than $80 worth of products from a $15 box! That’s such a steal! All the products were amazing but my favorite has got to be the mascara! I just love the overall effect it does on my lashes, plus the amazing benefits the formula gives my lash hairs! This box has been another one of Birchbox’s amazing curations and I am so happy with all the products I got!
