First look!

I received a product information card.

The inside of the card listed each product and their MSRPs. Websites were also listed in case you want to order more products. There was one variation this month, with subscribers receiving one of two different KVoss items.

My items were tucked into white paper squiggles and three items were in their original boxes.

Everything in my box!

Fleur & Bee Eyes Eyes Baby Anti-Aging Eye Cream ($22) I collect eye creams and although I don’t believe any of them really do much to turn back the hands of time, I do think they help keep the area moist and provide a smooth base for makeup.

Water, glycerin, and sunflower seed oil are the first three ingredients and there is aloe, niacinamide, caffeine, and cica (AKA gotu kola). I am less excited about seeing alcohol and essential oils, as I prefer not to have those near my face or eyes.

I didn’t experience any irritation when using this creamy product. It has an herbal and floral scent that is thankfully on the low side as far as scents go and it felt emollient without feeling greasy.

There was a coupon code inside the box.

Inkling Scents Roll-on Perfume in Unify ($25) is a unisex scent that leans feminine in my opinion, as it smells like sweet berries. Other scent notes include citrus, cedar wood, and Lily of the Valley.

This brand’s perfumes are made with “100% pure essential and perfume oils”, but I couldn’t find a full list of ingredients. The oil-based fragrance is also alcohol-free, so it’s not supposed to evaporate but be gently absorbed by the skin. The fragrance of this one is of a fruity floral perfume, so it leans towards classic as opposed to natural herbal “hippie” scents. Longevity is on the short side, but the portability means you can apply on the go.

Ellovi Lip Butter ($5) I love to apply lip balm just before bed but I prefer for it to be flavorless and scent-free. This is perfect for my needs!

I am loving this rainbow color-changing container, so cute!

Only 6 ingredients are in this tube and they include macadamia butter and coconut oil.

The balm was very smooth and glided effortlessly on my lips. I didn’t notice any scent or flavor and it left my lips very soft. It’s a keeper!

Delia Organic Nail & Cuticle Oil ($16.99) How are your hands and nails doing, what with all the washing and sanitizing going on? Mine are looking pretty rough so any product that might help them out is welcome.

This one is made with sweet almond, coconut, and a couple of other oils plus a blend of 5 essential oils.

I really don’t think a rollerball is the best applicator for nails and cuticles since it isn’t flexible and it refused to roll on the short area, it needs more room to actually roll. Instead I rubbed it over the pad of my pointer finger and then applied it over and around my nails. It smells mostly of peppermint and the smell is barely noticeable and fades quickly, so I will continue to apply before bed and see if it gets rid of these hangnails!

KVoss NYC Fairy Dust ($28) As I mentioned earlier, subscribers received either a lotion or powder highlighter from KVoss and I am happy I got the powder, it’s easier for me to apply!

Ingredients include corn starch, evening primrose oil, and artichoke extract!

This product comes in two shades, and I received Moonlight, which seems like a cooler tone than their Starkissed shade (silver vs gold).

It is easy to apply and buildable. I applied it to my nose, above my upper lip, on my cheeks, and on my forehead. When you get to my age, you want things to glisten.

I don’t know if it sparkles in the moonlight but it sure looks amazing in the sun!

I received 5 items in the April Kinder Beauty Box! I liked the assortment of products, with a product each for eyes, lips, and nails and a perfume and highlighter rounding out the crew. The products all worked well and since they fall into the more natural side of beauty, they weren’t overly perfumed or flavored, and I prefer it that way. I am happy to add them to my daily routine and I know that each of these full-sized products will last for at least a couple of months!
