This month’s box design is one of a kind! It has a lovely Zebra print, which I really like!

Everything looks great! I’m so excited to check everything out!

This month’s theme is WILD SIDE.

The back of the info card lists promos and a sneak peek for the June box!

Inside, there’s a list of all the items in the box plus a brief description for each.

The box is filled with black squiggles to protect the items inside!

True to its theme, there are even claw marks on the box! Super cute!

Everything in my May 2020 Glossy Box!

CBD FX Charcoal Face Mask ($6.99) This mask is so refreshing! It has a blend of broad-spectrum CBD and activated charcoal that helps the skin relax and draw out impurities. The CBD used for this product has less than 0.3% THC, which means it doesn’t have any psychoactive effect.

To use, just put the mask over clean skin, leave it for 10 minutes, remove, and then rinse your face. It was relaxing and the scent wasn’t overwhelming either. It was also hydrating!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm ($12.19) This cleansing balm is formulated to help you get rid of grime and traces of pollution without drying out the skin! This balm deeply cleanses the skin and unclogs pores so you get that fresh feeling every time, with the help of rose and mimosa waxes plus elderberry, starflower, and Optimega oils.

This cleansing balm is gentle enough for daily use. It dissolves makeup really well, leaving no residue at all. To use, just get a small amount, warm it into your palms, and then massage on your face and neck. You can use a damp cotton cleansing cloth to wipe it away afterward.

It smells heavenly and relaxing, like a spa in a small jar. The formula is also perfect for all skin types!

Steve Laurant Wild Thing Eyeshadow Palette ($40) This eyeshadow palette isn’t really something I’d buy. Remember that Faccia gold moisturizer from Boxycharm that drew flak for being overpriced and having questionable ingredients? This one is pretty much like that one, this brand appears to be just a cheap private-labeled Alibaba cosmetic.

Here’s how it looks like inside. It has a mirror, but overall it really looks cheap.

It includes matte and shimmer shades, all of which have warm, earth tones. It’s a bummer because I like palettes but this one doesn’t really fit the bill.

The ingredients aren’t great either! This item was a bust for me personally.

Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner ($17.60) This liquid liner has a well-pigmented formula and a fine tip for easy application. It’s everything I need to make my eyes pop!

According to the packaging, it has a conditioning Tripeptide complex which helps enhance appearance of eyelashes.

I love that the formula is waterproof so I can wear it all day without worrying if it would budge! It’s also long-lasting and nonfading so it’s a real must-have if you love liquid eyeliners.

Bellápierre Kiss Proof Lip Crème in Rose Petal ($20) Soft and creamy, this liquid lipstick offers full coverage minus the heavy or sticky feeling. It also lasts long so there’s no need for frequent touch-ups.

The packaging lists the ingredients and it includes beeswax, which helps retain moisture on the lips.

I got the lipstick in Rose Petal and I like how vibrant the color is. The pigment is amazing, it dries down to a matte finish in an instant.

If not for the palette, this would have been a nice Glossybox curation. I was really disappointed with that one. The skincare items are pretty good though, especially the cleansing balm. I love me some amazing products that work really well in keeping my skin clean and fresh and the cleansing balm does just that, even helping me remove stubborn makeup! The total retail value is $97, but really, the palette doesn’t seem like it’s worth $40. I hope they improve their future boxes and, hopefully, no more overpriced stuff!
