GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box with at least 5 luxury samples – many full sizes – per month for $21. Every year, they offer a Mother’s Day Limited Edition Box with specially curated items packed in a beautiful box, ideal for gifting to any mom you know or for treating yourself, if you’re also a mom! For 2020, each box contained 6 full-sized items. Each Limited Edition box was $30 for subscribers ($35 if you aren’t a subscriber!). This box is currently sold out.
The box is so pretty, it’s designed with delicate flowers on the cover and a dedication saying “Only for you”!
Upon opening, the items are neatly packed inside a wrapping paper and tied with a ribbon.
The presentation does feel like a gift!
The items were packed with squiggles, to keep them safe during transit.
It also came with a booklet!
The booklet lists all the items included inside the box.

3INA The Fixing Spray ($14.50) Made with cooling menthyl lactate, this facial mist helps hydrates and invigorates the skin to make it look more radiant! It also leaves a soft dewy finish after use. The formula works as a primer before applying makeup, and it can be also used to refresh your skin throughout the day. It comes in a spray bottle that disperses the product really well! Unlike others that tend to disperse uneven amounts with blobs of the product just gushing through, this mist goes out evenly and super fine so it’s really amazing!
Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Priming Leave-in Conditioner ($32) A blend of caviar extract and sea silk present in this leave-in conditioner helps restore the hair’s natural moisture and elasticity minus the greasy feel. The formula is lightweight and I find that it really helps with detangling my hair. It also adds amazing shine to keep my hair looking healthy. To use, just press it down and spray evenly on clean hair, then comb through and style!
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish ($7.08) This polish is created to provide gentle exfoliation and keep the skin smooth and bright-looking. It removes dead skin cells and it doesn’t strip my skin off of moisture while doing so. I love how clean and fresh my face feels after us. The formula is also infused with shea butter to help protect and nourish the skin. It’s even free from alcohol, parabens, phthalates, and artificial fragances!
Bio Effect EGF Serum ($65) It’s a challenge to find age-defying products that actually work and this serum is pretty promising. Ideally applied at night, it renews and revives dull skin and makes it look bright and radiant, all while working on reducing fine lines and wrinkles. You’d only need 2-4 drops of the serum per application. Just massage it on your face and neck and you’re good to go. The serum is fast-absorbing and it didn’t leave any residue!
Mademoiselle Provence Ultra Smoothing & Radiance Whipped Balm ($19.80) This whipped balm is so creamy, yet so light! Made with natural organic rose and peony extracts, it smells heavenly and the scent lasts a long time on my skin!
It also contains shea butter, known for its nourishing and hydrating properties. The whipped balm can be applied all over the body, ideally after showering to lock in moisture. I love how my skin feels refreshed, nourished, and hydrated after using this!
Lord & Berry Ultimate Lip Liner in Just Naked ($9.50) I love lip liners because they’re very versatile!
I got the shade Just Naked which is an amazing nude shade that looks like the perfect MLBB (My Lips But Better). I’m a big fan of the crystal cap packaging because it means I can see the shade from both sides even without having to open the cap!
This lip liner not only provides amazing pigment for the lips but it’s also formulated with ingredients like macadamia oil that softens and protects the lips!
This box is surely an amazing treat for moms! It has everything from makeup, skincare, and even hair care, with a total retail value of $148! All of the inclusions are easy to use, and they can fit easily into any mom’s routine, even the busiest ones. The presentation of the box is also good. It did feel like a gift when I was opening it. My favorite items from the curation are the mist and the anti-aging serum. The mist is super handy for keeping my skin refreshed throughout the day, while the serum is a promising product that targets a common skincare concern for moms of my age: fine lines and wrinkles. The lip liner is also gorgeous but in all honesty, everything in this box is! I can’t think of a better gift for Mother’s Day, really! This limited edition box is amazing and the contents truly give you a good value for your money!
