I picked a Chick Lit this month and it’s all about moms!
It’s set in New York and also has some mystery/thriller elements. You won’t guess it from the cover though, because it’s a bit colorful and cute.
The story is filled with dark humor, and it had twists and turns that I certainly did not expect to happen. There’s also a thing or two to learn from the story, like how not everything we see in social media is real.
The author’s writing style is refreshing. The story somehow reminds me of The Real Housewives, but definitely more entertaining!
Our book pick this month didn’t disappoint! It’s a great Mother’s Day read! Book of the Month is a great way to discover the best books and most promising authors. The May selection is wonderful, and we’re pretty satisfied with our choice this month. I just love how entertaining this was. With an interesting ensemble of characters and some mysteries lurking around in the corner, it’s not surprising that it was hard to put down. It’s a great choice for any fans of contemporary women’s fiction!
