Everything in the box!

We’re excited about this new adventure!

I’ve gone and done it again. Somehow I’m on another adventure, and this time it might be my last! When a young wildebeest gets separated from her family, it’s up to me to help reunite her with her 1.5 million cousins on the Great Wildebeest Migration. Explore Tanzania with me as I venture across the Serengeti, swim in crocodile-infested waters, and stand up to a pack of hungry hyenas.

Upon opening the booklet, we get to learn more about the Maasai Way of Life!

My daughter had a great time reading it!

There are also a few other stories, like That’s Not A Cow.

Another story is called Be Careful, Womple! My kids loved reading the stories and now we’re all excited to see what’s inside the box!

Keychain. This cute crocodile keychain is fun and colorful! You can put it on your bag or even use as a key holder!

Reusable Stickers. They also included stickers with different animals. These are meant for matching to the map provided in the box!

This month, we’re going to explore Tanzania! On the included booklet, there are some facts about the country.

They included a Chai Tea recipe inside the booklet, as well as additional information about the Maasai people.

They also featured The Adumu which is a jumping dance by the Maasai people!

There’s a lot to learn about them! From their staple food and the meaningful colors, this is such a fun booklet to read!

Here we see a map of Tanzania and Kenya!

My kids took turns in bringing the map to life by filling it with colors!

They also had their turn in putting up the animal stickers!

This is such a great introduction to the box!

The kids had a really great time as this prepared them on what they can expect from the inside!

So now, it’s time to explore the rest of the box!

This part of the booklet tells us more about Northern Tanzania!

For our activity, we made a papier mâché Maasai Giraffe!

The instruction card contains complete steps as well as illustrations! They’re very easy to follow!

First, just mix the glue and water using your foam brush.

Then, using the foam brush again, stick layer the colored paper pieces then put more of the glue-water mixture on top! Also, make sure you place a cardboard or a newspaper on your work area so you’ll have an easier clean-up time! My kids really enjoyed this activity!

You can put any color you like! Let your imagination run wild!

You can also try crumpling pieces of the colored paper for a different look! This activity is such a great way to help your kids learn to focus on finishing a task at hand. It also helps with their hand-eye coordination and brings out their creative side!

Here are the finished products of our paper mâché activity!

My kids had a great time doing this activity!

I love how they were able to work together to create amazing pieces! This activity not only unleashed their creativity but it also enabled them to work and bond together.

The recipes in the booklet are for ugali or simple cornmeal porridge and chai tea. They look super easy to make with ingredients that you may already have in your pantry!

We love learning new things, like how the Maasai people didn’t really settle in one location, but moved from one place to another instead, to keep their cattle healthy.

Even the kids were amazed with the Maasai fashion! The colors of their robes and the jewelry they wear all look amazing!

Postcard. We also got a New Zealand postcard from this box! It features a map of New Zealand, as well as the popular tourist attractions there!

When we turned the card over, we were surprised that this was actually a sneak peek for the next box!

This box is such a great bonding time not only for the kids but for us, parents, as well!

WompleMail introduces different places and cultures in the world, in such a fun and kid-friendly way! The story-based approach is really great. Created by storytellers and educators, each box teaches everything from history and culture to sciences and nature, and even cuisines. Their art projects are also fun, and what’s great is that the materials are already enough for 2 kids. From the stories to the art project, my kids enjoyed everything in the box. It’s a great way to keep them busy and entertained, and also a nice opportunity for the family to bond. Overall, we are very happy with the box! According to the sneak peek, we’ll be traveling to New Zealand in the next box and we are so excited!
