The bottom of the box lists down the benefits of art, as well as the box inclusions.

There’s also a big “Thank You” text when you open the box. The contents are wrapped in white tissue paper sealed with the brand’s sticker.

We’re excited to take out the contents of the box and start the projects right away!

There are also information sheets that list down the projects, instructions, materials, and more information about the box.

Everything in our box!

We got these instructional cards that include ways to get creative juices flowing!

It also encourages us to share our creations by using the hashtag #ICreateArtKit on social media!

There is also a letter from the i Create Art Kit team!

We got two envelopes from this month’s box! Each one is labeled by the activity name.

Project 1: Lion. Our first project for this month is a lion! We got this Lion Sequence Drawing which is a connect the dot activity sheet that helps us with drawing a lion!

There are also fun facts about lions! It’s a really good read and my kids learned a lot from it!

They also provided a ton of reference images. They even put a close-up portrait shot so we can get a more detailed look!

Some images also have them lounging in their natural habitat! It’s a great reference when drawing their body!

We got these different sheets of colored paper, as well as a carbon paper to help us with this project!

Here are the stencils we can use for both activities!

The kids were ecstatic when they saw the watercolors! The coloring set also came with oil pastels, pencils, and paint brushes!

My kids used the carbon paper to trace down the lion to a new sheet!

My younger son had a great time connecting the dots in this line sequence drawing activity!

He also used the oil pastels to fill the drawing with colors and bring it to life!

It’s done! Now, the king of the jungle is ready to conquer!

Project #2: Koi. The next activity is all about koi fishes, which are such gentle and delicate creatures. The line sequence drawing even has illustrations of a bridge in a pond.

Just like the lion activity, we also got these cards that contain fun facts about the koi fish.

They also included a lot of reference images like koi fishes in different colors and even pictures of a koi pond!

Reference images are great tools in creating your own artwork because they help you visualize the image better!

Here’s my older son, focusing on the activity at hand!

Painting is always fun! He used the watercolors to color the koi fishes and the pond.

He even put background colors to complete the illustration.

Here’s the finished product! There are three different colored koi fishes in the pond!

I’m really proud of their work!

Art is fun, and that’s also what iCreate Art Kit is all about! This month, my kids drew, colored, and painted animals, and even learned facts about lions and koi fishes. They were really surprised to learn that koi fishes are sun-sensitive and that lions need at least 16 to 20 hours of rest! Another thing we love about this box is that the instructions for the are easy to follow and there’s also room for creativity in every activity. Plus, we can also re-use the coloring materials included in this box for other art projects! Speaking of which, my kids want to draw more animals from the spare items!
