Gacha Gacha Crate is a new box from Japan Crate that follows the gachapon craze in Japan. Each box contains six hand-selected gachapon capsules. These surprise eggs may contain useful accessories, your favorite characters, and a whole lot more.  Boxes start at $28, and shipping is free.

DEAL: Use coupon code HELLO to get $3 off your first box.

The interior of the box has cute doodles and the presentation is really kawaii.

It’s like a nest containing six gachapon capsules sitting comfortably in orange fillers.

Every box includes a monthly Gacha Gacha magazine!

This month’s featured article is about Doraemon!

The magazine also lists all the gachapons you’ll get this month, along with some tidbits about each of them.

The gachapon capsules came in a variety of colors. Its concept is similar to surprise eggs and blind bags.

Everything in my March 2020 box!

Pokemon Casino. It’s a mini slot machine with “gold” coins! Subscribers will get 1 out of 5 Pokemon slot machine designs.

I got the yellow one and it features a variety of Pocket Monsters including Mantine, Pikachu, and Taillow!

This mini slot machine is not just for your eyes. You can actually play it! Just insert the “gold coins” on the opening on top and when you match all 3 images on the slot machine, the coins will come out!

Hamster Wheel. Next up, we got a hamster on a wheel! Subscribers will get 1 out of 5 available colors. Mine is gold!

It came in 5 easy to assemble parts, including the hamster figure itself. It’s adorable!

Just turn the knob to see it work!

Doraemon Game. We can now experience one of the most classic Japanese luck-based games using barrel and keys, the gachapon way!

This game features a super cute little robot and Doraemon’s little sister, Dorami!

It’s a simple game that you can play with your friends and family. All you just need to do is to take turns on inserting the bell key on the holes until Dorami pops up. It’s a fun and exciting game!

Skyline. Here’s a miniature version of Nissan Skyline GTR car. We got them in several easy to assemble parts.

This mini-replica is well-detailed, it looks really similar to the real thing. Plus, we still got an extra set of wheels and mugs!

There are 6 different available designs for this car. I got the red Skyline GTR and I really like it!

Hanafuda Display.  Hanafudu is a Japanese playing card that is used on a bunch of games and deciphers it as the flower cards.

This gachapon display looks pretty much like the real thing. It’s so detailed, and definitely makes a great decoration.

It is also available in 6 different designs. I think I got the least colorful of them.

Hello Kitty x Gundam. There are 10 varieties for this keychain and all of them feature a mashup of Hello Kitty and Gundam!

The one I got features the Mobile Suit Gundam robot with Hello Kitty’s trademark red ribbon!

Gacha Gacha Crate proves that cuteness comes even in small packages! Opening these gachapons is always so fun because we always get surprised in a good way. My kids love the cute Doraemon game and the Pokemon-themed slot machine. My favorite is the miniature car display. The Gundam and Hello Kitty mashup is also pretty awesome and unique. The miniature hanafuda is a nice inclusion as well, giving us a glimpse of the Japanese arts and culture. All in all, this was a wonderful box and we recommend it to anyone interested in collecting miniature items and in Japanese culture in general!
