The banana’s sweetness masked the slight bitterness from the greens but the delightful earthy taste is still present. It’s cool and refreshing, and it feels good in the gut. It also has a citrus-forward flavor.

The choco specks on this green shake look good and it really reminds me of mint chip ice cream, with just a darker green color.

Yum! The cheese sauce jived perfectly with all the veggies in this bowl. I love the umami taste, the combination of sweet potatoes, bell peppers, and the crush from the florets. It’s simply filling and delicious. It also has vitamins A and C that are good for the immune system.

Cauliflower Rice + Pesto Harvest Bowl. Cauliflower is a good alternative to rice and other grains. Cauliflower rice is fast becoming a favorite in many health and wellness circles. When we opened the cup, there were greens and sun-dried tomato on top. They looked vibrant!

The ingredients are all layered together in the cup. They may look unappetizing as of now, but wait until you cook it over your stovetop or heat it up in your microwave.

Cauliflower and pesto have never been this yummy and easy to prepare. This is great for those busy days when you just need a little help with your meals. Of course, after heating, they look more mouthwatering!

The frozen contents inside the cup look great!

We opted to heat the soup using our microwave and just after 5 minutes, our soup was hot and ready!

Look at that spoonful of greens, leeks, and onions! It was quite filling!

Daily Harvest proves that incorporating healthy food into one’s diet can really be easy. Their smoothies, bowls, and soups only take minutes to prepare, and you can also easily pack them to enjoy on the go. These healthy food offerings make a great alternative to your usual meals, without sacrificing the taste. They also make you feel full and energized to go through the day! We really like the smoothie combinations, especially the berry ones. The mint cacao tastes like dessert as well. Meanwhile, the bites are good snack foods, in place of chips and chocolates. Another food we enjoyed is the soup bowl. It’s really warm and filling, perfect comfort food to enjoy during a cold day. Among the bowls, we love their version of “mac n’ cheese” where they replaced the mac with broccoli and cauliflower florets. We’re excited about the changes they’ve made, which will appear it our next box! It’s great to know that they’re switching to compostable packaging and that they’re updating their serving sizes too!

This might be a pricier option, but one of the things I really noticed is that the chop on every single piece is designed to ensure your meal is cooked perfectly. Overall I’ve been impressed with this subscription’s offerings and if you’re willing to stomach the price of the meals, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, plus you get to try new food combinations that will surely please your tastebuds as well.
