Birchbox Tip #200:

Look for lip products with peppermint oil for a plumping effect.

The information card gives brief details on each item as well as the price if you were to buy the full size.

You can visit Birchbox.com/MyBox to easily see the details of your box, which I recommend because sometimes they have videos on the item product pages which I find useful.

Everything in my April 2020 Birchbox!

TokyoMilk Dark Everything & Nothing Eau De Parfum (approximately $1.75) TokyoMilk has the best perfumes for women! This one, which came in sample size, features a romantic scent that is really up my alley.

With notes of sweet orange, pressed petals, dessert moss, and tea leaves, it surely is attractive. I applied it on my pulse points and it lasted quite a long time!

IBY Beauty City Limits Eyeshadow Nightfall ($2.38) The eyeshadow sample came in a beige clamshell packaging. It looks cute and also pretty sturdy, perfect for stashing in your pouch or travel bag.

Nightfall is a pink champagne shade which is great for transitioning. It has a subtle shimmery finish! The rose hip-oil formula is also good, as it’s gentle on the skin and applies smoothly like butter!

NatureLab Tokyo Perfect Smooth Blowout Lotion ($3) Made with a mix of argan oil and quinoa, this hair blowout lotion helps tame frizz and protects hair from further damage. It comes in a handy tube, which makes it easier to control how much you’re getting. To use, just squeeze a dime-sized amount and apply it on your damp hair then blow-dry. It also works perfectly for dry hair, if you simply want to tame flyaways. The formula forms a protective layer on your hair, so it comes out looking silky and smooth after blowdrying. It doesn’t feel greasy and it doesn’t weigh down my fine hair either!

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment ($12.20) This lactic acid treatment is great for those who have skin aging concerns, as well as hyperpigmentation. Lactic acid helps dissolves dead cells without irritating your skin, and aloe with soothing and calming properties.

It’s ideally used twice a week. All you need is to apply a thin layer and then follow with a moisturizer. Continued use promises brighter and smoother skin.

IPKN Moist and Firm Beauty Balm SPF 45 – Light Medium ($5.08) It’s a BB cream infused with ingredients that also take care of the skin like vitamin E and collagen. Aside from protecting your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, the formula also offers flawless coverage which leaves the skin glowing and radiant. I got the light-medium shade, and it also has a matte finish. It’s like having a moisturizer, foundation, and powder in one formula, and it’s great to use if you want to cut down your makeup time without sacrificing your look!

Smashbox Cosmetics Always On Liquid Lipstick – Stepping Out ($6.24) Liquid matte lipsticks tend to be drying and sticky, but not this one. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and well-pigmented, keeping my lips looking good all day long. Ingredients include a blend of jojoba, apricot, and sunflower seed oils. I got it in Stepping Out, a deep nude shade that looks flattering. It’s perfect for fans of MLBB lippies.

The products in this month’s box are great for full-face makeup! There’s a BB cream that provides full coverage, a subtle eyeshadow for a natural look, plus a gorgeous deep nude matte lipstick. They even included a blowout lotion to keep my locks smooth and shiny. I also appreciate the inclusion of a skincare item, which makes this such a well-rounded curation. The total retail value is $31, which is more than double the price of the box!
