Gentleman’s Box is a monthly subscription of men’s accessories and grooming products. Each box is uniquely themed, honoring a noteworthy gentleman from the past or present. Currently, you can choose from two subscription types: The Classic Subscription with 4-5 products for $29 a month and The Premium Box with 4-6 premium accessories for $100 per quarter.
This is a review of The Classic Subscription.
DEAL: Save $5 on your first regular box. Use coupon code HELLO.
The inner part of the box cover features Gentleman’s Box social media handles.
The items are neatly stacked inside. There are no fillers or extra packaging.
Each box includes a copy of The Gentleman’s Post, a well-designed booklet describing the products in the box and offering styling suggestions for each one. This month’s box is dedicated to honoring our favorite “Irish Boss.”
Gentleman’s Tip No. 48
The final test of a gentleman is his respect for those who can be of no possible service to him.
– William Lyon Phelps
The Gentlemen’s Post walks through everything in the box, and more. There is a handy table of contents that gives a quick list of the contents and the total retail value of the box. They regularly have a feature that introduces us to members of the Gentleman’s Box team.
The booklet starts off with a style guide to give you some visual cues on wear and pairing options.
Every page is dedicated to each item — they include the usual picture and blurb, but they also include a handy section denoting the level of attire (e.g. formal, business, casual) for which the item is appropriate, as well as colors that best complement it.
They also sometimes have discount promotions littered throughout.
This month, the booklet even includes a feature about fun winter date activities!
Everything in my box!
Lord Of Ties Pocket Square ($20) It’s a navy blue pocket square filled with intricate flower-shaped details in white. It has just the right thickness, so it’s easy to fold and fit in your pocket.
Gentlemen of the North Socks ($12) Stylish socks are a must in any gentleman’s wardrobe! I got a pair in this box and it also features neutral colors.
These socks were made with 85% cotton, 10% polyester, 3% spandex, and 2% nylon.
These dress socks have a light gray base color and navy blue polka dots all over, except on the cuffs, heels, and toes.
I like the snug fit of these socks. They’re also lightweight and really comfortable to wear.
Gentleman’s Collective Tie ($35) This tie looks unique because of the checkered pattern. It goes well with black or navy blue suits!
I also like its weaved texture that makes the tie more sophisticated.
The tie is also lightweight and easy to wear. There’s a loop at the back that keeps the tie in place.
Lord Of Ties Lapel Flower ($15) To add a touch of class to your overall look, they also added a lapel pin featuring a gray flower made with layers of fabric.
It’s simple yet classy. I like accessories like these, stylish enough without being over the top.
Windsor Tie Co. Tie Clip ($15) The tie clip was packed in a black drawstring pouch with the brand logo.
This silver-colored tie clip looks like a paper clip.
It’s easy to attach to any tie to keep it neat all the time. It complements the checkered tie really well!
This ensemble is really up my alley. The colors are just fantastic!
The Gentleman’s Box is consistent with the quality of their curations. Every month, they send matching items that make up a whole look, making it easier for me to dress up on special occasions. From the pocket square to the tie clip, everything in this month’s box is of great quality. They also never fail to come up with interesting themes! I’m impressed, as always, and I’m looking forward to the future boxes!
