Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription. You get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and hair care items in a cute bag for $12 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands that you may have never heard of, as well as some of the bigger names. Ipsy also offers a Glam Bag Plus for $25 a month and Glam Bag Ultimate for $50 a month.

IPSY was founded on a singular mission: to inspire individuals around the world to express their unique beauty. Everything we do is to support you on your journey to self-discovery, so you’ll feel confident letting your unique beauty shine every day.

Most of my items were inside the cute pink makeup bag but make sure to double check the mailing bag, that’s where I found my brush!

The bag looks like it might be faux leather and has some rockin’ studs on one side.

The back of the teal bag says “100th Ipsy Glam Bag” and I appreciate that the branding is subdued.

The inside is lined with acid green polyester material and the zipper pull is yellow. The bag measures 7.5″ x 5″.

I received a card telling me that it is their 100 bag-a-versary and that I received 6 products instead of my usual 5.

The inside listed my products and gave a tip for each one. It mentioned whether my items were full sized or sample sized and listed the retail value for the full sized products. I received 3 full sized items and 3 deluxe samples. I chose one sample for my bag and although it isn’t in the picture, I picked one add-on item.

There was info on the back of the card about a giveaway going on all month long! Also, don’t forget that sample choice day will be 3/25!

Everything in my box!

Foxy Bae Replenishing Hair Mask ($5.22) I use a hair mask once a week and it was a treat to change it up and use this great smelling mask! I applied it after using a clarifying shampoo and left it on while I finished my shower. I had no problem combing my hair and it didn’t weigh down my coif either.

Hanalei Company Kukui Lip Balm In Island Mint ($6) I will always prefer mint lip balm over any other type out there!

Ingredients include sunflower and coconut oils, beeswax, and kukui nut oil, which is supposed to relieve dryness and keep lips moist.

The lip balm glided on effortlessly and my lips immediately began to tingle from the peppermint oil. It left my lips very soft and I am a fan!

Complex Culture Precision Eyelid Brush ($18) I always love the brushes that Ipsy sends, and I was excited to add this brush to my collection!

The shape of this vegan-bristled brush allows for a variety of uses. Use the flat side to apply shadow to the lids or to highlight just under the brows.

Use the tapered end to get into the crease or apply along the lash line. It’s so versatile and well made and I didn’t encounter any loose bristles.

Wander Beauty Eyeshadow in Blossom (part of the Fling Palette available here) Every subscriber has the opportunity to select a product for their bag and I went with this eye shadow single!

The shade Blossom is part of a 6-pan palette of colors for spring. Blossom is described as “shimmer pink” and that is how it looks here but…

…when you move it around it is gold! So pretty! It went on easily and you can use a brush (I used my new one from above with no problems) or swipe it on with a finger. Swatched below.

Girlactik Precise Marker Liner in Black Noir ($20) I probably won’t ever buy a liquid eyeliner for myself (I prefer a pencil) but this one was really good and worked as well as my previous favorite by Kat Von D.

It has a tip that helped me get a precise line without it being too wet (so it didn’t get into my crease or waterline) and it dried quickly. Swatched below.

Here are the Wander eyeshadow and Girlactik liner swatches. How pretty is that shadow? I love it!

Sugar Cosmetics Uptown Curl Lengthening Mascara in Black I couldn’t find this product available for purchase so the only info I have on it is what is posted on the Ipsy website, but luckily Ipsy posts ingredients and directions!

This is a fiber mascara, so it is supposed to build up the lashes as you apply. It was a decent mascara for me, but then I’m not often impressed with most mascaras, so this one did the job of making me look like I have lashes.

PlayList Handle It Hand Cream in Raspberry Macaron Every subscriber received $2 towards the purchase on an add-on, which means that you could snag an add-on for as low as $1! I grabbed this yummy-sounding hand cream. The scent is fruity and also kind of smells like a macaron, just a tad nutty. Perfect size for placing in my Ipsy bag, which goes into my purse.

I was extra pleased with the items I received in my March Ipsy Glambag! The brush alone is worth more than the price paid for the bag and will last for a while to come. The liner and lip balm will also last for some time, and they are full-sized too. The hair conditioner worked really well and the shadow is a nice addition to my collection. The value for my items, not including the shadow, mascara, or add-on was around $49.22! Yay Ipsy!
