This the review of Mystery Box Case 026 – SPARKY.

The mystery comes in an envelope. The only things written on it are the Sleuth Kings P.O. box address and the case that you will be working on.

The epilogue is included and separated in another envelope.

To begin with your adventure, you need to login to their website and send Sullivan an email.

The files are neatly arranged in a white folder, with Sleuth Kings branding in front. All the files are organized inside the folder, they are even separated by paper clips.

Everything in my box!

The case objective is written in a card, and we will be working to find the creepy mascot named Sparky’s hideout.

It also lists the contents of the case file: investigation instructions, investigation report, clues, and more.

We also got a snuck-out letter from Celest St. Claire. However, her note this time included that she’s the victim as a psycho mascot named Sparky is stalking her. Still, we can use her help in solving this case by taking a look at the information on her website.

The investigation instruction sheet names the client, the case you will be working on, and the whole situation. And we read it right, our client is Celest St. Claire!

I suggest you read them thoroughly to fully understand the case and also to know where to start the whole investigation.

For this case, we just need to know where Sparky wants to meet Celest, and where Sparky’s hideout is.

There are also clue analysis, where each clue item’s use is being hinted or explained.

The first glue we got is a KupBAM menu. There’s nothing unusual with this page as it really only shows the menu and some ingredients that they are using for preparing the food.

However, when you flip it on the other side, there’s a creepy note from Sparky. Aside from the note, there is also another paragraph at the bottom with what looks like random letters, numbers, and symbols, but we believe that it means something!

The next clue we got is another weird note with drawings from Sparky. It comes with several repeated words like “Sparky”, “hear”, and “taste”. We think that the colors mean something as well.

The third clue actually proved that Sparky is a dangerous guy! He’s wanted for multiple counts of assault! And there are what we think more clues that we need to decode, on both sides of the wanted poster.

The last clue is another weird letter from Sparky, and this time, it’s more colorful and cryptic. Each letter comes with meaning as well. I bet we can use this as a reference for the other clues.

Also included is a creepy card with Sparky’s image.

There’s a quote from a certain Matt Simon, and we actually have no idea who is this guy.

Here’s a card that has a website that we can use for this case.

There’s a postcard with Sparky’s image that says “You set my heart ablaze.”

The back of the card comes with random letters and numbers, with checkmarks and Sparky’s image as well.

Here’s a map, complete with legends and even schedules on when the establishments open.

We also found this zipper pull along with the clues and notes. It shows a weird image of Sparky with the letters PRO, MEL, FIN, and STU, and each letter on the set is colored red, green, or blue.

After solving the case and finding out Sparky’s hideout, we can finally open the Epilogue envelope. Inside, we found a letter from Celest and a small bag of stuffing from Sparky’s costume!

It is also revealed in the letter that Sparky is already caught, and he turned out to be Matt Simon, the guy who was quoted in one of the cards! It’s a good thing that he won’t be able to hurt anyone anymore as he’s already taken care of by the police.

This case is fun, and we’ve proven something from this case as well, that Sully and Celest is a couple! We’re actually rooting for them to be together as we believe that they’ll make a great team, and here’s the concrete evidence! All thanks to Sparky! Aside from that, it’s a fun case as our client is Celest and she proved that she’s a real badass! Sleuth Kings really knows how to make us feel thrilled in every case, and this one is no different. We’re definitely looking forward to the next cases, it’s really fun doing investigations and solving puzzles with the whole family!
