PHILOSOPHY Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette ($1.25) I got a scent sample this month, which feature key notes of musk and lily of the valley.
It has a lovely floral scent that reminds me of fresh flowers. Just a few spritz and it keeps me smelling good all day long!
KAT VON D Tattoo Liner in Trooper ($20) Kat Von D is known for her eyeliners because they are so great. They are highly pigmented and waterproof!
The packaging is also very ergonomic. Easy to use and store, this is sure one of my favorite eyeliners!
GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD® Activated Charcoal Treatment Mask ($25) This potent mud formula helps reduce the appearance of pores and reduce redness and other skin irritations. It also leaves a radiant, healthy-looking glow! To use, just apply a thin layer, leave it on until it hardens, and then wash off with water. It gives the skin a tingling sensation, but it’s nothing to worry about as it dissipates eventually. This formula is powered by a Super Six Acid Blend composed of lactic acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, mandelic acid, tartaric acid, and pyruvic acid.
SMASHBOX Photo Finish Foundation Primer ($21.95) This primer is good! It has a silicone-y texture that helps with minimizing the pores, giving you a more flawless looking base. It also holds makeup really well! Another thing I like about this primer is that it’s formulated without parabens, phthalates, and other harmful substances. For best results, moisturize skin first before applying the primer and then let it set for at least 15 seconds.
Tarte Babassu Foundcealer Skincare Foundation SPF 20 ($6.50) The coverage of this foundation is superb! The formula is not too thick and is very easy to blend! I’d say it has a medium to full coverage and you can also double this up as a concealer which is always a good thing in my book! Key ingredients include soothing babassu, vitamin-rich sunflower seed, and moisturizing hyaluronic acid.
BELIF The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb ($7.60) This cream has a somewhat whipped texture that is very lightweight when applied to the face. It’s packed with the detoxifying power of comfrey leaf, leaving the skin soft and fresh.
It provides long-lasting and intensive moisture. To use, apply to face and neck in the morning and at night. You can also use this as a moisture boost! Just scoop a small amount and tap gently on your skin. I just love all the belif moisturizing products and couldn’t be happier with this one in my box.
It’s another amazing box from Sephora Play! Everything in this month’s loot is a YES on my list! The primer is my favorite, as I can use it under makeup but I can also wear it as is, just to help with minimizing pores! I also received a bunch of skincare goodies with promising effects that adhere to this month’s stress-free beauty theme, as well as a fantastic eyeliner and a perfume sample. I couldn’t ask for more! The $82 overall retail value is just icing on the cake!
