JoahBox K-Beauty subscription box is ending this 3/10! The March 2020 box will be the last box to be sent – refunds will be given to multimonth subscribers. You can find similar boxes on our  and  lists.

The box design leveled up! It’s now in lilac, with JoahBox branding on the exterior and cute prints on the interior.

Joah literally translates to “like” in Korean.

This month’s theme is Cheers To New Year.

The pamphlet lists all the items inside the box, with instructions on how to use it, variations, and tips.

They also encourage subscribers to share their JoahBox photos on social media using #JoahBox.

When you sign up for JoahBox you’ll fill out a short and sweet customization survey including whether you are interested more in makeup or skin care, your skin type, and your skin tone.

You can also input your shade so you can be sure the items they send will match you.

Everything in my box!

Mugwort Sleeping Pack Aritaum ($1.5) This sleeping pack is powered by mugwort, which is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has a light cooling effect that assists skin healing, reduces redness, and soothes dry skin!

Jeju Vita Aqua Mask Gangbly ($2) Great for all skin types, this sheet mask delivers hydration and gives your skin a bright and beautiful glow.

It’s infused with vitamin C, which helps brighten the skin and clear your complexion. Just like other sheet masks, you can put this on for 15-20 minutes and then pat the excess serum on your skin.

Pompom Ball HME ($5) K-beauty is known for innovative products, like this freeze-dried ball! It’s made with hyaluronic acid and collagen, and you can easily mix it into whatever product you’re using like serums and masks for added moisture. It dissolves quickly and incorporates well. It’s like an extra boost on your favorite product! Really amazing!

Sassy Glam Eye Glitter Celebeau ($14) Right off the bat, I was impressed with the pigmentation of this product. I got the shade Aurora Moon, an in-your-face sparkling silver eyeshadow that’s just gorgeous! This product has 2 other variations, Twinkle Berry and Flash Bronze.

The formula dries quickly and I love that there are no fall-outs to achieve my desired glittery eye look! It applies on like a cream and dries into a powder-like consistency and I really like how it stays in its place once dry.

Thalasso Foam Cremolab ($28) This cleanser has a thick and creamy texture that foams up really nicely. It cleanses and refreshes my face, leaving it feeling soft and smooth after use. It doesn’t make my face feel like it has been stripped off of moisture because some facial cleansers tend to do that. With this, my skin feels so good every time I cleanse!

Extreme Moisturizer Serum Ibiza Spa ($10) Enriched with manuka honey, this serum improves the overall appearance of my skin making it look brighter and healthier. Honey is also known to balance the skin’s pH level and aid inflammation from acne breakouts. It also gives my skin a natural-looking dewy glow and I really like that!

Clean Hand Cream Body Holic ($5.50) I like hand creams and this one is currently my favorite! Not only is it moisturizing but it also smells amazing. A lovely fruity scent with woodsy notes, it’s something new and refreshing for me. This product has 2 other variations: Freesia/Iris and Rose/Musk.

Korean skincare has been all the rage these days and JoahBox just gave us an amazing insight on what this K-Beauty rave is all about! I had a great time discovering new products and I am still amazed by the pompom that came in a medicine capsule packet. They truly are revolutionizing skincare and I’m all for it! My favorite item for this month is the hand cream because it just smells so amazing and it also does a great job moisturizing my hands. The formula is light and non-sticky so that’s another plus. All in all, I think all the items were great and I’m so happy I got to try them! Looking forward to the next box!
