Sleeping Beauty Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray + DVD ($29.95)
A witch curses a princess that she will die on her 16th birthday, but a fairy alters the curse so that the princess will go into a deep sleep and can only be awakened by a prince’s magical kiss.
Who doesn’t know about this classic and timeless tale? Aside from the amazing animated version, the disc also includes bonus extras like In Walt’s Words for Sleeping Beauty, Fun Facts, Classic Bonus that includes The Art of Evil which shows us a generation of Disney villains, Picture Perfect which shows us the making of Sleeping Beauty, deleted scenes, and more!
Aside from the Blu-ray, we also got a DVD and a redeemable code which can be played on phones, tablets, computers, and other gadgets, so you can watch the movie anytime and anywhere!
Here’s what I’ve learned – you get the most bang for your buck by skipping months and then going back and getting previous titles. We didn’t pick anything else up this month, but sometimes you can add on titles at 60% off! This is a great perk and makes the price per movie lower.
It’s another Disney Classic, and we’re actually good with it as we are building our Classic Disney movie collection! Sleeping Beauty is a nice tale about true love, and even though this version is way different from the live-action version, which is Maleficent, it is still a nice story for the kids to watch and enjoy. I would like to complete all the classic animations that feature all the Disney Princesses too!
