The items arrived in a red box with a Gramma in a Box sticker.

This month’s box also features a special sticker that contains a Happy New Year greeting.

The kit shows up bundled neatly together under some cute red polka dots tissue.

It is secured using another Gramma In A Box sticker.

All the items come in separate plastic containers.

The card has a message from Gramma Terry! This month’s box is all about New Year and Football Treats.

At the back is a list of all the items from the box and the items you need from home.

Every month, 3 projects are included in the box. This month, we are going to do New Year Sparklers, Game Day Crunch, and New Year/Football Cookies. Each of the cards has step by step instructions with a few images.

Featured on the other side of the card is the list of ingredients for each recipe.

Everything in our January 2020 box!

First Project: New Year Sparklers. For the first project, we used melting chocolate, pretzel rods, and candy quines (pastel dots).

We started by melting the pieces of white chocolate chips in the microwave oven. We heated it for about a minute long, stirred it with a spoon, and then reheated for another 15 seconds to achieve a thick and creamy texture.

After melting the chocolate, we dipped a part of the pretzel rod on the melted chocolate and then on the cup of full of candy quines. To make sure that every part of the rod has candy on it, you can spin the pretzel while dipping it on the candies.

Repeat the process for the rest of the pretzel rods. There we have our own edible and super colorful New Year Sparklers!

Second Project: Game Day Crunch. For our second project, we used the excess melting chocolate, popcorn, cranberries, pretzel sticks, roasted peanuts, and candy-coated chocolate chips.

This Game Day Crunch project was so easy to make. All we just did was to put the popcorn, cranberries, nuts, chocolate chips, and pretzel sticks on a large bowl.

On top of the mixture, we put the excess melted chocolate from the first project!

Then, we mixed them together until the white chocolate is fairly scattered on each and every ingredient!

It’s so yummy and tasty. The sweet and salty flavor coming from popcorn, pretzel, and chocolate chips blend really well!

Third Project: New Year/Football Cookies. For our final project, we used cookies, frosting, and a variety of sprinkles!

My kids love designing cookies, especially using frostings and sprinkles. They were super serious working on every detail of it!

Check out how my daughter squeezed the frosting, she’s so cute and really killing it!

Once done with the frostings, you can also add your desired sprinkles on top of each cookie for an extra design!

Before putting sprinkles, we suggest that the top of the cookies should be well-covered with frosting to maximize the design.

Aside from the colorful sprinkles and chips, we also got a variety of frostings with brown, blue, and yellow colors.

My son shows his creativity by combining the blue and yellow frostings on this cookie.

Here are all the three different projects on this month’s box!

We got a lot of excess chocolate and colorful sprinkles, so my son decided to just add them to the other project to make it tastier and more colorful.

This is how we welcomed our 2020! All the Gramma in a Box edible projects this month are colorful and super tasty!

Yummy 2020 cookies!

Aside from the 2020 cookies, we also got here some football-themed cookies.

The perfect cookies for the upcoming Superbowl!

Welcoming 2020 in a Gramma in a Box way was truly amazing! All three projects were not just colorful and eye-catching, they are super yummy as well! They never cease to impress us with their unique, fun, and filling edible projects that also make a great bonding time for the whole family. My kids love all the projects, most especially the Game Day Crunch, as it comes with a variety of textures and tastes. It’s perfect to munch on while watching movies together! All in all, we love this month’s box and we can’t think of any better way to celebrate the start of 2020 than doing these projects together!
