BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full-size samples every month. In the past, the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes always include an amazingly high value with premium products!
It’s here! I’ve been excited since the spoilers!
The items arrived in a black box. There are no fillers but everything arrived in great condition.

Ace Beaute Palette Scarlet Dusk ($34.99) Subscribers will receive this, or the Vintage Dawn Palette, or the Dr. Brandt 24/7 Retinol Eye Cream. First off, this palette’s packaging is divine!
The back of the box contains a brief description of the palette as well as the ingredients used for the eyeshadows.
It came with its own mirror! Some palettes don’t and I find that I don’t reach for them that often, simply because if I use them, I’ll need a separate mirror so I’ll bring more items with me. This way, the palette is compact and easy to use even when on the go!
The color selection in this palette is nothing short of amazing. It’s warm and vibrant. All the shades are very wearable and some can even be used for everyday eye looks! The formula is also good. They blend really well and the pigmentation is on point.
Pretty Vulgar Under Cover Concealer ($25) Subscribers will get this or the Too Faced Diamond Highlighter. I got the shade called The Middle Ground! This would be pretty awesome, as it gives my skin a natural finish, but there’s absolutely no way I can use this as a concealer with my skin tone.. It’s also infused with vitamins and Galactoarabinan to help keep the skin soft and moisturized. The coverage is good but it’s still very lightweight. It applies nicely and blends really well. It even comes with an angled doe foot applicator that makes the concealer easy to apply. Again though, gotta pass this one on.
Petite ‘n Pretty Fully Feathered Volumizing Mascara ($16) Subscribers will get this, or the Grande Cosmetics Grandedrama Mascara, or the Manna Kadar Lip Whip. True to its claim, this mascara did wonders to my otherwise boring set of eyelashes. It did a great job of volumizing my lashes, making them look thick and evenly spread! I also like how it dries really quickly! Key ingredients include Melitane peptide, which is responsible for the long-lasting black pigment, as well as polymers and vegetable-based jellifyers.
Skin & Co Roma Truffle Therapy Face Gommage ($28) Subscribers will get either this or Wander Beauty Trip for Two Blush and Bronzer Duo. This product smells lovely! Other exfoliators can be harsh on the skin, but this one isn’t. It’s not as abrasive as the others but it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. Ideal for all skin types, it contains a special ingredient called Black Winter Truffle Extract, which is a known ingredient that helps reduce signs of aging. I also like how it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry after exfoliation. It’s really gentle on the skin and I’m in love with it!
Avant Sleeping Mask ($111.18) Subscribers will get this, or the Inn Beauty Project Power Up Dual-Phase Face Mist, or the Glow Recipe Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask (30mL). Rich, thick and creamy, this mask feels very luxurious on the skin! It contains antioxidant-rich shea butter, hydrating rice bran, and panthenol with restorative properties. Also, a little goes a long way so even with a steep price point, I’ll still say this product is worth it! However, still bummed to not get the Glow Recipe!
Another home run for BOXYCHARM! This month’s box has a great mix of makeup and skincare and I’m more than happy with all of it! My favorite for this month has got to be the exfoliator. As a woman my age, I am finally starting to give more focus on caring for my skin and these items worked really well for me! Everything else was mostly great so I’m not complaining, but the concealer is a miss! With a total value of $215.17 for all the items in this month’s box, it’s definitely a steal! I’m also excited for next month’s box!
