Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. Your stylist will send you 5 pieces based on your profile for you to try on at home and hopefully fall in love with. There are no coupons for Stitch Fix but if you hit the jackpot and keep everything, you save 25% on your whole fix (read below for details).

I’m excited to see what’s inside the box!

Here’s how Stitch Fix works: fill out your style profile! This includes style, budget, what you’re looking for, and you can get as detailed as you want with the notes to your stylist. It really really does help to provide notes to what you’re seeking, and a Pinterest board if you have one!

The styling fee is so worth it – I never go clothes shopping anymore. I just wait for my fix! If you keep everything you get a 25% discount, so it pays off to be specific on your style profile. You will check out and get charged to your Stitch Fix account. Return the pieces you don’t want in the prepaid mailer (free shipping!).

Your return mailer is tucked right into the box. The styling fee for each box is $20, and shipping is free both ways. I put my return items out with the rest of my outgoing mail – couldn’t be easier.

Stitch Fix also included an envelope.

It contains suggestions from a stylist.

You will also receive a separate paper with a list of your items. You’ll be charged a $20 styling fee and shipped five items to try on at home. If you keep anything your styling fee will be applied to your order, but if you don’t, you will pay the $20 fee.

The set of styling cards has suggestions on how to wear a particular item. The styling cards have changed a bit – before they showed a dressier and less dressy version, now they’re featuring multiple sets of accessories to pair with the garment, or 2 entirely different looks, but not necessarily dressed up and dressed down.

I find the styling cards very helpful. I am not a naturally good-at-fashion person and these help a LOT. Even if I don’t keep the pieces I use them as inspiration – like my own personal fashion editor!

Everything in my October 2019 fix.

Nic + Zoe Cecilia Faux Suede Dress ($188) We’re on to winter, but I can still go out in-style and dress-up for the occasion with this faux suede dress.

I love dark-colored dresses like this one. I can wear it in the office, I just have to top it off with an equally gorgeous blazer, and head on to a party later. Also, the square neckline calls for some accessorizing, which is great!

Naadam Cashmere Emmy Silk Cashmere V-Neck Sweater ($128) The sweater feels really comfy and smooth. I love the texture of silk cashmere on my skin. Also, I learned that the cashmere used in this piece is sustainably-sourced from Mongolia, what more can I ask for?

The lover heam of the sweater has some ribbed details and a slit on the side. It will definitely work well with a pair of skinny jeans and leggings plus some pretty boots.

It’s the perfect time for layering and this is probably one of the best sweaters I have that will go with most of the other pieces I have.

Olive & Oak Lidy Cowl Neck Hi-Low Knit Top ($54) Cowl neck clothing is not just a hype, it’s really a necessity to keep the neck warm during the coldest of days. I’m most fond of these pieces this season!

It’s another perfect layering piece, which looks great with leggings or tight jeans.

With the ties, you can adjust the cowl neck easily!

Mason & Belle Kagami Back Detail Brushed Knit Top ($42) Yay for another comfy piece! This dusty pink floral brushed knit top is so cozy, you’d want to wear it all day!

There’s a pretty lace fabric detail at the back of the top, just below the collar.

Like the knit tops that I got from previous boxes, this one will definitely look good under a jacket or a cardigan. The floral details are really mesmerizing as well.

I got my new leggings and boots ready for this one. Wearing this piece lessens the need to accessorize. Perfect for lazy days!

The lacey detail adds a touch of sexiness to the piece!

41 Hawthorn Oliana Long Sleeve Knit Blazer ($88) I got tons of plain-colored tops and undershirts that will definitely look amazing under this knit blazer.

The knit blazer has just one button in front and several buttons on the cuffs. The gray, black, and white checkered piece also come with faux pockets on each side upfront.

It will also look good on top of dresses, another great piece to layer these chilly days.

Casual or formal attire, you can easily pull off different styles with this!

Denim jeans and sneakers, or a pair of suit pants and heels, anything can go with this blazer.

I’m really excited to wear this over the new suede dress that I also got from this month’s box!

Most of the clothes I got this month are perfect for the season! I usually get cold easily so layering is one of the most effective clothing styles I end up doing during these months. I’m glad to get several tops that keep me warm and cozy. I also like the suede dress, it’s perfect as office attire and as a party dress at night. Among the long-sleeved tops, my favorite is the dusty pink knit top. Its color and floral design are just perfect, along with the lace detail at the back. Again, I’m really impressed with the selection and style suggestions this month. I’m looking forward to more amazing pieces and styling tips in my future boxes!
