Every month I try to guess what scent will be featured based on the sticker that’s placed on the outside of the box (see previous picture). Is that a vanilla bean? Yes it is!

Everything was tucked into shredded paper squiggles.

I found a card with the theme: Very Vanilla!

The back of the card described the theme in more detail.

Another card listed the products and retail value, plus gave a little description.

It also listed websites where you can find more.

Looking good so far!

Everything in my box!

Latika Body Essentials Cinnamon & Vanilla Bath Bomb ($6.50) A huge bath bomb starts off our box. It is dressed in the warm colors of the season and has hints of vanilla in the scent.

There is a pretty bronze swatch across the top of the bomb and the ingredients include the classic citric acid and baking soda combo to get things fizzing. The scent is like a woman’s perfume, with hints of amber and florals.

Paddywax Library Mark Twain Soy Wax Candle ($12) I love Paddywax candles and this one smells so good! The Library line includes a quote from a famous author and scent notes that might have applied to that writer.

Scent Notes for the Mark Twain candle include tobacco flower and vanilla along with orange, clove, and amber. It smells warm and sweet and I really enjoy the scent, both when the candle is cold and when it is burning. It has just enough scent throw, it isn’t overpowering at all. The candle is made of soy wax.

Revival Lip Scrub Rose & Vanilla + Sugar ($7.95) My lips have had bouts of dryness this fall so this came just in time to help get my smacker back in check.

The scent/flavor is rose and vanilla and it is heavier on the vanilla, which isn’t really heavy at all. This is a gentle scrub and the flavor/scent reflects that.

The ingredients are good enough to eat, although I prefer to rinse my lips afterward. Sugar, oil, and essential oils are all that’s in here. Oh, and some beet root powder for a hint of tint.

Isn’t it beautiful? I rubbed some on my lips for a minute and then tissued off the excess. It left my lips soft but not greasy. I didn’t have any tingling, so I’m guessing the peppermint was very light, if it was there at all.

Wood & Wax Co. Amber & Vanilla Solid Perfume Balm ($14) Here is another product with a short ingredient list. Coconut oil, beeswax, cocoa and shea butters, plus fragrance are in here and provide moisture as well as scent.

The scent includes notes of vanilla, musk, amber, and florals and it has an almost old-fashioned fragrance, maybe it reminds me of something I’ve smelled before. The fragrance is light and doesn’t last long, but you can also use it on your cuticles, and I can’t say that about other perfumes!

NOSEJOY brought us a box of anything but plain vanilla products for November! I love the candles that come in the subscription, and Mark Twain worked especially well for the season. The lip scrub is delectable (I never thought of describing a scrub that way but it is!) and the solid perfume will get used as a cuticle cream. The bath bomb rounded out the box nicely. The value for the November box was around $40.45!
