Amoda Tea is a premium tea subscription that sends hand-selected teas sourced from small, independent tea companies. There are two choices of box available — the Original Monthly Tea Box and The Low Caff. Both cost $20, have free shipping to Canada/US (no international shipping yet), and you can also add on some extra bonuses like a perfect teaspoon or extra tea bags. They also have a tasty tea guarantee — if you don’t like a tea in your box, they’ll replace it in your next box!
We scour the shelves of independent tea companies across North America to find unique teas, delicious blends and fun flavours. We offer a way to discover the hidden gems of the tea world, support the up-and-coming tea companies and taste the very best they have to offer.

I can’t wait to see what’s inside!
Everything in my box!
I found a cool tea postcard in my box. They tend to look seasonal too!
I also found a pack of biodegradable tea bags. Amoda sends loose leaf tea so you will need a way to strain out the leaves after steeping and these bags are very helpful.
A sheet listed the teas sent for the month, plus it has a discount code for subscribers to save when they stock up on their favorites!
The Octavia Tea Company Hot Cinnamon Spice (Green tea with caffeine) This is the best smelling tea, it could double as a room freshener!
Green tea is mixed with pink peppercorns, clove, and cinnamon, which is the star of the show here. It really shines and the flavor is kind of sweet, which I wasn’t expecting. It reminds me of Big Red gum!
Elevation Tea Company Blueberry Pie (Black tea with caffeine) We received two teas this month from a new vendor – Elevation Tea Company!
Blueberry Pie has black and rooibos tea plus herbs, spices, and blueberries. It had a hint of vanilla and a light fruity flavor. I added sugar and milk and it was very tasty!
Sunrize Tea Cran-Pear-Y Symphony (Green and white tea with caffeine) features a combo of both green and white tea leaves plus cranberries, pears, and other yummy sounding ingredients.
Keep the water below boiling to make sure the tea doesn’t turn bitter. I used 1.5 teaspoons because the tea and berries take up a lot of room. The tea smells so good when you open the bag and became a pretty pink color when steeped and had a fruity flavor.
Elevation Tea Company Ginger Snap Tea (Black tea with caffeine) Here is our other tea from Elevation. Both of their teas that were included are inspired by desserts!
Black tea, orange peels, and spices are in the mix and I must say, this tea is all gone now. I used 1.5 teaspoons and thought it smelled amazing, and it had a hint of citrus. Very festive!
Amoda always curates a fun box of seasonally flavored teas! It dares me to step beyond my usual cup of English breakfast tea and to discover that I actually do like green tea, especially when it’s mixed with cinnamon! There is enough in each bag for around 3 cups per bag, although if you use 1.5 teaspoons like me then it might run out faster. Of course, there is a discount code so you can save when you stock up on your favorites!
