I started by taking a quick scent quiz and received some suggestions on what I should order, but then I perused the scents on offer and decided to fill up my queue with popular scents like Mon Paris and Black Opium. One problem I had was that I couldn’t change my queue around at all.

Everything in my box! I received my monthly scent in a simple black box placed in a mailer box. No cards or literature, Scentwist keeps it simple! Each vial holds 8ml of fragrance.

Angel by Thierry Mugler Eau De Parfum ($120 for 1.7 ounces) I went with a scent that Fragrantica calls an Oriental Vanilla. Scent notes include bergamot, honey, and patchouli and it is rather gourmand. I caught a whiff of pineapple and caramel and I think this is sweet and also warm, with a touch of something spicy. I prefer the dry down instead of the initial blast. It lasts forever on my skin and projected far enough for my husband to say he liked it and he didn’t even have to sniff my arm!

The scent name and maker is listed on the vial.

Your first box will come with a case, then you will receive a new case every quarter.

Place your scent vial in the case and twist down until you can’t see the scent name. Then twist back up to reveal the nozzle.

I’m pretty happy with my November Scentwist! I have been wanting to try this scent for a while and it is a nice one for fall and winter, all comfy and cozy. I didn’t have to pay for a huge bottle and even a smaller bottle of this is $84 on the Sephora website, so this feels like a steal to me. I think Scentwist just revamped their website and the only problem I encountered is that I can’t move the scents in my queue around. The only way I can change them is to delete them all and start again so that’s a bit annoying. Otherwise, I’m really happy with them and they have a great selection of fragrances.
