Slutbox by Amber Rose is a monthly beauty subscription with assorted makeup, accessories, and sometimes sexy products. You can get this box for $29.99 plus free shipping anywhere in the US. This subscription box contains unique items that are curated by Amber Rose to help make you feel good from the inside out.
The name of this box is designed to reclaim hateful language about women. You may disagree! You can read more about it on their site or see the page in the zine below that discusses the name of the box. It is no longer delivered in a crazy hot pink box with the word “Slutbox” prominently placed in the front, making it a bit easier for shy types to order!
FYI – if it wasn’t already clear, this is a box with adult language and themes and isn’t appropriate to read at work.

The package arrived in a simple brown box.
Inside the box is a purple wrapper containing all the items.
It’s also sealed with a plaid heart sticker.
The items were neatly stacked inside!
We also got a card enclosed in a yellow envelope with a lipstick sticker!
This month’s information card is inspired by Clueless and its famous catchphrase.
September 2019 theme is As If.
Instead of the magazine, they’re keeping it simple and gave us a pamphlet for the item descriptions. Each item comes with a photo, a description, and a useful tip.

Slutbox Silk Sleep Eyemask ($30) The luxurious eye mask was packed in a black drawstring bag for safekeeping.
It’s made with silk so it has a smooth and soft texture. It doesn’t irritate my skin either.
It comes with an elastic strap so it’s really comfortable to wear.
She Orgasms Daily Orgasm Supplement ($8) Here’s a sample pack of sexual enhancement supplements for women. One pack contains 4 capsules.
It contains ashwagandha, which is a medicinal herb, and damiana, which is an aromatic woody shrub. According to the packaging, these are best taken 1-2 hours before sexual intercourse.
Slutbox Back 2 Skool Pouch ($12) This fuschia pink pouch can fit several makeup items or other essentials. The design is plain but the attractive color makes up for it.
The pouch’s interior is in fuschia pink as well. It comes with a zipper so you can easily secure the items inside. It’s a dupe, though (from the July box).
Raeka Beauty Turmeric Lemon Peel-Off Mask ($29.50) There are 5 variants of this peel-off mask, and our box has Turmeric Lemon!
It’s formulated to cleanse your skin from impurities minus the redness and irritation. Just apply evenly and wait for 15-25 minutes before removing.
Since this one is infused with lemon, it also helps brighten your skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots and acne scars.
Appeal Cosmetics Forest Green Eyeliner ($21) This liner glides smoothly like butter, but it comes in a green shade which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. It has an intense color payoff and it’s buildable as well.
This month’s curation is centered on pampering one’s self, with the inclusion of the silk eye mask and peel-off mask. The pouch is useful for stashing makeup and other essentials, so you can just grab and go especially if you’re busy. Except for the supplements, there are no other intimate/sexual items from this box, and there’s no longer a magazine with interesting features relating to body positivity. Still, it’s still a nice box overall because of the fun and usable items.
