Scentwist is a monthly fragrance subscription box for men and women. Simply place your fragrance selections in your queue and your order will ship by the 10th of the month. Every box comes with a 30-day supply of fragrance and in your first box you will receive a case to house your fragrance. When you sign up you will select the color of your case from one of nine colors and you will receive a new case every 4 months.

I started by taking a quick scent quiz and received some suggestions on what I should order, but then I perused the scents on offer and decided to fill up my queue with popular scents like Mon Paris and Black Opium.
Everything in my box! I received my monthly scent in a simple black box placed in a mailer box. No cards or literature, Scentwist keeps it simple! I also received a new sprayer for the quarter!
Rosabotanica by Balenciaga Eau De Parfum ($299.95 for 3.4 ounce on Amazon, also found on the Scentwist site for $100.99) Sometimes I go with an unknown to me scent just to try something new, and since this one is a floral green scent I added it to my queue. It has listed notes of rose, fig leaf, patchouli, and hyacinth. I can’t smell the patchouli at all, which is too bad because I adore patchouli. I smell a little rose, a little mint, something floral and green, something a bit powdery and clean soap-like at the very end. Longevity is pretty long, several hours, although projection isn’t very far.
My new case is bright red, and my scent vial can be removed and switched between cases.
Just place in the sprayer, twist to hide the nozzle, and then twist in reverse to expose the sprayer. You can carry this with you in a bag and it is in a TSA approved size, it comes with .27 ounce of fragrance (or 8ml). The website can be glitchy and on a recent visit I had trouble moving scents around in my queue and the fragrance quiz wouldn’t load for me at all. Other than that, I appreciate the sheer volume of fragrances that are available on the Scentwist website, including older fragrances or those that are no longer made (like the one I grabbed this month).

NYAmicas, I think that they are always a good value, especially when compared to the price of rollerballs. Also, it’s a good way to try an expensive perfume without spending a small fortune.
