I’m so excited to review another of CutiePieMarzia’s subscription boxes! It’s a quarterly box curated by CutiePieMarzia, who is an Italian Youtuber. Marzia actually recently quit YouTube to focus on her designing and art career, so I was worried her box would be shut down. Looks like it’s still going strong!

There are 2 versions of this box – the regular one for $29 per quarter, and the Very-Important-Marzipan box for $89. This is a review of the regular box. The CutiePieMarzia box ships from Toronto, Ontario and ships worldwide.

The fall theme is TOKYO! Marzia is a huge fan of Japan and travels there often (she and Felix went there for their recent honeymoon, and I’m so jelly). It’s no surprise to see her love for Japan in a box!

Pure Heals Centella Asiatica Set — I wasn’t able to find a price for this exact set, but it’s a combo of two of Pure Heal’s Centella line. Centella is a popular ingredient in K-beauty because of its healing properties. It’s popular in acne treatment as well. It is a very soothing ingredient and anyone’s skin can benefit!

Centella 65 Green Tea Mask ($22.24) — Centella is paired with soothing, clarifying green tea. This is a hefty sized mask and has a lot of product.

Centella Ampoule ($13.99) — WOW! This ampoule has 90% centella extract as well as aloe, eucalyptus, a variety of nourishing oils, and other hydrating ingredients like squalane.

The packaging is sleek and has a nice weight to it.

Onigiri Beanie — An adorable bright beanie with a kawaii onigiri (rice cake) on it. I love the bright colour and this is a perfect addition for chilly weather.

Lululun One Night Rescue Mask for Mature Skin ($4) — Lululun makes amazing sheet masks, and are famous for their multi-mask packages that have 7 or even 30 masks all in one package. This is their One Night Rescue series and this mask is specifically for more mature skin. Boosted with collagen, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid, this mask has creamy essence to soak in overnight and leave you with glowing skin!

Botanic Twenty Hypercare Essence — Botanic Twenty is a Korean beauty brand focusing on natural beauty. Ingredients include rosehip which is loaded with vitamin C, deep sea water rich with minerals, and soothing botanicals that soften skin.

CosRX Clear Fit Master Patch ($6) — CosRX’s acne patches are the bomb. They are a hydrocolloid bandage that sucks the pus and sebum from pimples to help them heal faster. The Clear Fit version is a more recent improvement on the classic patch, being flatter and more clear so you can wear it under makeup. The only problem with acne patches is the acne needs to be ahead (with the pore exposed) to work, and I usually just get whiteheads. My sister uses these, so she’ll get them for her stash.

CosRX Acne Master Patch ($6) — Here are the originals as well. I love that we were given two packages. The Clear Fit patches have 18 patches and the originals have 24.

Japan Prints — A set of four prints of Japan, featuring classic scenes such as a shrine gate, a traditional store, and other iconic Japanese scenes.

Fresh Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash ($10) — A very soft and gentler exfoliating face wash. Sugar crystals are a great way to buff away dead skin, while strawberries are full of vitamin C to brighten.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy — Fresh is probably most famous for their lip balms, and this is their Advanced Therapy version. It’s a blend of nourishing oils to keep lips soft and smooth. As we head into colder weather, chapped lips are a threat and this lip balm is great for keeping it away.

Fan Pin — A kawaii rose gold pin with two little fan designs.

Teeccino Roasted Herbal Tea — I think Marzia is addicted to this tea LOL! She sends it every quarter. It’s a roasted herbal tea and this flavour has a chocolate mint flavour!

Ampulogy Clarifying Ampoule ($22) — Papaya enzymes, sugar cane, and PHA are a combination for a gentle exfoliating treatment. This is a an ampoule style skincare you can use to target specific skincare concerns by using straight on the skin or mixing into moisturizer.

I thought it was fun that the fall box had a lot of Asian inspiration even if it was more Korean than Japanese. But Korean products are considerably easier to find, so that’s okay! I definitely appreciate the emphasis on skincare as we move into colder weather. One thing I’ve been missing lately is Marzia’s artwork, and while it’s cool to see someone as influential as her supporting and promoting other artists, her art was what made the box stand apart from other lifestyle boxes.

I read on her site that next box will be her last…

That definitely makes me sad. 🙁 It’s one of my favourite boxes right now, but she’s seemed less involved with them. I don’t blame her, she’s got her two businesses (Mai and Tsuki) along with all her other activities to focus on!
