Loot Crate DX is a deluxe monthly subscription box from Loot Crate. It’s themed with the regular Loot Crate theme, except it contains premium next level loot for discerning geeks! It’s like a special edition box from Loot Crate – every month!

DEAL: Save 15% on any subscription plan when you use this link and coupon code HELLOSUBSCRIPTION15.

NOTE: All of Loot Crate subscription boxes are experiencing substantial delays. If you subscribe now you run the risk of never receiving boxes. Only subscribe if you are ok with that risk.

All the items are neatly packed inside the box!

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet.

The theme this month is TOYBOX DX!

The booklet gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and has a nice premium feel.

Everything in my box!

Mr. Potato Head Pin. The pin I got for this month is from one of the coolest animated movies that features toys! It’s Mr. Potato Head from Toy Story!

Mr. Potato Head’s pin only has his facial features, not his whole head, but still, you can recognize that it’s him! As a toy, he is a plastic model of a potato which can be decorated with a variety of plastic parts that can be attached to the main body like ears, eyes, hat, shoes, and of course his eyes, mouth, and mustache!

Splatoon Plush. I also got this plushie from Loot Anime June 2016. It is from the popular game Splatoon made by Nintendo for the Wii U console and is a team-based, third-person shooter game that centers on humanoid characters called Inklings.

This Inkling plushie is in its squid form, as they have two forms which are the human and squid forms. It also comes in an exclusive lime green color!

Rugrats Raglan. The wearable I got from this box is this black and white raglan featuring Rugrat’s Reptar!

The main design is an ad for the Rugrat’s favorite dino toy! It shows Reptar which is a green T-rex with rounded, blue spike-like appendages on his back, making him look like Godzilla!

Captain Marvel Towel. I already got several of this Capt. Marvel towels, from Marvel Gear + Goods March 2019 and May 2017 boxes respectively. It features the short-haired Carol Danvers sporting her primary-colored suit, and she looks ready to unleash her powers!

The towel is quite big, which makes it perfect not just for drying yourself up after hitting the waters, but can also serve as a beach or picnic mat!

Astroboy Light-Up Figure. It’s another repeat product, and I also got it from the Loot Anime February 2018 box.

The back of the box shows different parts of Astroboy and its functions.

Doctor Tenma designed Astroboy as a humanoid or a robot made with human emotions, and he based him from his son.

The base has Astroboy’s Japanese characters on it.

Unlike most figures, this one shows us what’s inside his body.

It really lights up bright in the dark! It has a warm light, which is great as a night lamp.

This is one of my favorite Loot Crate subscriptions, but the box always arrives late and it’s frustrating – and so are the repeat items. I love the Rugrats raglan. It’s cute and the fit is comfy and nice. The Astroboy light-up figure is still amazing, like the first time I got my hands on it. The Mr. Potato pin is another valuable piece that I can add to my pin collection as well! Overall this box was disappointing for veteran subscribers, a win for newbies, and late all around.
