Ipsy October 2019 Glam Bag Ipsy did a Betty Boop theme this month and sent bags and makeup items inspired by this classic cartoon character. The front of the bag has pink pearlized material with Betty’s features.

The back of the bag has black sequins.

There’s a B zipper pull and the holes in the B are hearts!

The inside is lined with black fabric. The bag is about 7.25″ x 4.75″. It holds a few beauty items and looks cute!

This month’s theme is FLAUNT IT!

At the back is a list of all the items in the package, along with a description and a beauty tip.

NOTE: I was missing one item, the Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot Eau de Toilette. I contacted Ipsy and they sent a replacement and it is on its way.

Every subscriber gets to choose an item on 10/23!

Everything in my October 2019 bag! Gone is the metallic pink mailer, Ipsy says these new plastic shipping mailers can go into the recycle bin and the others were not as environmentally friendly.

Marc Anthony Strengthening Grow Long Super Fast Strength Leave-In Conditioner ($1.08) I prefer thickening products for my hair but I was surprised to find that this leave-in didn’t weigh my hair down. I used it after washing my hair, just rubbed a bit between my hands and applied it all over then styled as usual. It had a light floral scent and my hair didn’t have any static after blow drying. Ginseng and biotin are a couple of the ingredients that are supposed to promote growth.

Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara in Jet Black ($8.33) Every Ipsy subscriber gets the opportunity to choose a sample for each of their bags and I chose this mascara! I love all of the Benefit mascaras but refuse to pay a lot for something I’m going to throw out after three months so any time I can get one in a bag I am just over the moon!

I don’t really look like I have lashes until I put on mascara, and most do a good job at that one requirement. They’re Real! goes a step or two beyond and helps my lashes look lush and it lasts the entire day. If I know it’s going to be a long day then I reach for this product. It never clumps either.

Betty Boop x Ipsy Satin Lipstick in Mauve it Baby  Ipsy’s bag this month was inspired by Betty Boop, and so were some of their makeup items. I’m not sure of the value of this lipstick but the entire 10 item collection is selling for $39.99 on the Ipsy site.

The brand is Ipsy’s own.

The shade is a neutral mauve with a satin finish so it feels like traditional lipstick – it’s not drying and doesn’t flake off. The color worked well for me.

It looks darker than it did in the container but here it is swatched.

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish In Adulting ($15) I couldn’t find this polish available for sale but I linked to the others on the TFB website.

The brand is 10-free (missing 10 toxic ingredients that may be found in other polishes) plus it is vegan and cruelty-free.

The color is very pale pink and probably better for spring but my daughter said this is one of her favorite nail color shades. In fact, she brought it along on her visit to the nail salon and now her toes look adorable.

Ipsy is such a fun subscription to get every month! They are usually a good value and for October I thought they sent a good variety in my bag. One of my products was missing but I have another one on the way. The bags are always cute and for the most part I’ve heard of these brands, plus, I got to pick an item for my bag! The value for my October box was around $24.41, not including the lipstick, missing item, or bag itself.
