There’s a short note from GLOSSYBOX.

The brands featured for this month are Illamasqua, Skin&Co, John Masters Organics, Bellapierre, and Minus 417.

This month, they gave us a $100 wine voucher for Nakedwines.com

Everything in my October 2019 box! This box has some variations – see another one here.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Pro Concealer Palette ($32.38) This palette is specifically created for color-correcting purposes, to help us reduce the appearance of skin imperfections and achieve a more flawless make-up look.

There are 3 concealers in the palette and each of them has a specific purpose.

Green is perfect for hiding acne blemishes and rosacea, no matter what skin tone you have. There’s also peach, which can be used for dark and deep skin tones to hide dark undereye circles or bruising. Lastly, there’s yellow, the most ideal for fair and medium skin and for covering up dark undereye circles as well.

The formula is wonderful. It’s non-drying and it worked well with my foundation. It has a nice natural-looking coverage as well.

Skin&Co Roma Truffle Therapy Polishing Micro-Exfoliating Truffle Face Gommage ($5.91) It’s a luxurious exfoliating treatment made with a concoction of black winter truffle, sweet almond oil, and apricot seed powder. The formula is packed with antioxidants and vitamins, which ensures that your skin stays healthy and well-hydrated after removing impurities. It’s rich yet gentle and soothing. I also like its subtle scent.

They also gave us a 25% off coupon + free US shipping for orders over $28 at Skin&Co’s online store.

-417 Time Control Firming Mud Mask ($7.80) Treating your skin to a mud mask is another way of exfoliating. This one is made with Dead Sea mud, known for its ability to draw out damaging toxins from the skin.

It’s also blended with lots of vitamins and plant oils to keep your skin firm and tight. The scent is earthy but not overwhelming.

I got a couple of John Masters Organics items, a bottle of body wash and a bottle of body milk.

John Masters Organics Body Wash in Geranium & Grapefruit ($6) The body wash is infused with soothing geranium flower, refreshing grapefruit, and vitamin-rich sunflower oil. It’s light, fragrant and, most importantly, it cleanses the skin without stripping it of moisture. It also lathers really well!

John Masters Organics Body Milk in Geranium & Grapefruit ($6) Body milk is applied after showering to keep your skin glowing and youthful. Just like the body wash, this body milk is infused with geranium and grapefruit. It also has coconut oil, which is known for its moisturizing and nourishing properties that leave the skin smooth and soft. The formula is weightless, you won’t even feel you put it on because it sinks quite easily.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil ($9.34) This primer leaves a beautiful silky finish on your face, making it make-up ready in no time! It’s infused with microalgae, vitamin C, vitamin B3, and plant extracts to give optimum hydration.

It has a bouncy and firm gel-like texture! I’ve tried this product before and it’s still the same – WONDERFUL . It’s perfect to apply even on days when you don’t have to put on makeup. I really just love its effect on my skin. It’s hydrating, but it doesn’t make me oily.

This month’s GLOSSYBOX focused mostly on skincare, and I’m not complaining! All these skin-loving products make me happy, especially because they’re all moisturizing and ideal for keeping my skin well-nourished despite the harsh cold weather. I love the exfoliator and the mud mask, they help me get rid of excess oil and other impurities in my skin. The concealer palette is amazing as well, it’s a must-have for keeping your makeup as flawless as possible. It’s a wonderful curation overall, with a $68 total retail value!
