The 2019 GlossyBox US Advent Calendar is a 25-day beauty advent calendar full of fun beauty surprises. It’s available for subscribers for just $89, and also available for non-subscribers for $99!

NOTE: We’re reviewing every single item in the advent calendar. Lots of spoilers ahead!

It’s the Season to be Glossy! The gold-foiled details add fun and sophistication to the advent calendar.

The box has a satin ribbon tied around it to keep it from opening during transit.

There’s one small box to open each day leading up to Christmas day!

There’s a note from Glossybox Team that says there’s been a switch up for box #6. We’re getting a Doucce Freematic System eyeshadow instead of a Doucce eyeliner.

This time, they added a product guide to give you more details about the advent calendar’s contents!

Spoiler alert! All the products are listed inside this pretty booklet, so if you don’t want to ruin the surprise, you may save it for later.

Inside, there’s a message from The Glossybox Team.

There’s an individual photo of each item plus a brief description.

Individual item prices, as well as the brand’s Instagram username,  are also listed under each product.

They even listed the product’s corresponding number on the advent calendar, so you can easily find what you’re looking for.

The back has info on how you can get Glossy Credit.

From rectangular shaped boxes to the small square boxes, this advent calendar looks promising.

Wondering where box #25 is? It’s behind box #1!

Tadah! It’s just as big as box #1 so we’re really excited to find out what’s inside!

The packaging is really high-quality. It makes a perfect gift!

Here’s everything in the advent calendar! The boxes come in different sizes and colors as well.

We’re onto the first box!

The item was cushioned with black squiggles.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Leave-In Overnight Serum ($40) Ideal whether for straight, curly, or wavy hair, this overnight serum repairs your hair using Caviar Extract with moisturizing properties and Caviar Bond Enforcing Technology that seals damaged hair cuticles. No more dryness nor split ends, making my hair more manageable and one less thing to worry about during the holiday rush.

Another key ingredient is the Age-Control-Complex® which prevents further hair damage. Whether your hair quality is deteriorating because of undergone chemical processes or physical stress this serum helps give elasticity and shine to your strands to bring them back to life!

We’re onto the second box!

It’s a makeup item!

L.O.V. Blurring Blush ($11) Two lovely shades are combined in one pan, aiming to give your cheeks a natural flush of color instead of overly bold streaks that look out of place. This blush is highly-pigmented and the colors easily complement various skin tones. Glamming up for the holidays will be easy for me, with this one in handy.

I got it in No. 20 or The Future Is Female. The formula is super creamy and blendable!

The marbled blush colors, a combination of bright pink and nude, look like a work of art! The compact packaging even comes with a mirror, so touching up wherever you are will be less of a mess.

For the third box, we’re getting a fragrance!

Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum ($11.64) Warm and sweet, this scent is perfect to wear for the holidays! It has lovely notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and patchouli, lingering even after hours have passed. The bottle packaging looks exceptional as well.

Avant Pro-Intense Hyaluronic Acid Illuminating Day Cream ($108.04) The cold weather calls for an intensely hydrating cream to keep your skin from drying out and flaking! We got one in the 4th compartment of the advent calendar, and it’s such a high-value item as well. A blend of hyaluronic acid, sea water, jojoba oil and soy lethicin makes this cream instantly hydrating and smoothing. It even has anti-aging properties that reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The formula is ideal for mature, dry, and overworked skin.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer ($13.80) Here’s another hair care item, from the 5th compartment! It’s called an “elasticizer” because it adds elasticity and bounce to your hair, making it stronger, softer, and more manageable. The formula works well with fine and medium hair. This treatment is ideally applied before shampooing.

It contains Hydrolyzed elastin, the protein responsible for increasing elasticity. Other key ingredients are moisturizing castor oil and vitamin E-rich olive oil. The treatment is light, gentle, and nourishing without weighing your hair down. Continued used promises shinier and healthier strands!

We’re now on to box #6! As previously mentioned, we’re getting an eyeshadow instead of an eyeliner.

Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow Palette ($10) I got the eyeshadow in Amy, a shimmery purple eyeshadow. It comes in a compact pan with a magnetic bottom, so you can easily add it to your custom palette.

Like other Doucce eyeshadows I’ve tried, this one has a creamy formula. It blends like butter and it’s so light, you wouldn’t feel you actually have them on.

Oribe The Lacquer High Shine Nail Polish ($32) For the seventh day, I got luxurious nail polish. It’s in a super dark shade of violet that it looks black on the bottle. The formula is chip-resistant and fade-proof. I like the color coverage, just a few swipes and my nails are already party-ready. It also has a high shine finish. The best thing about it is that it’s 8-Free, which means it’s free from 8 harmful ingredients previously found in most nail polish formulas.

fur. Lash Curler ($19) I’m loving this rose gold lash curler from the 8th box! It’s an easy-to-use tool to make your lashes pop beautifully. I used it before applying mascara and it worked wonders for my lashes.

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt ($9.50) Made for those who have sensitive scalps and oily scalps, this scrub is a purifying treatment that cleanses, soothes, and restores hydration at the same time. Sea salt helps stimulate circulation and gentle exfoliation, while almond oil provides a blend of essential nutrients for healthier and smoother hair. To use, just apply a small amount to wet hair, massage, add some water, let it lather, and then rinse. It’s recommended to be used once or twice a week, depending on the thickness of your hair.

Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil ($26) Regular matte lip pencils tend to be drying, but not this one! It’s smooth, creamy, hydrating, and well-pigmented, adding a nice pop of color on your lips with a few swipes. I got it in Mystic, a pale violet rose color.

This also works as a cheek tint. Just dab a small amount and then blend. The formula is even hypoallergenic, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free.

Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($16) To help us maintain our eyebrows for the holidays, they included a universal eyebrow pencil in the 11th compartment!

One end has a pen tip that allows easy and precise application, while the other end features a spoolie to polish your brows. The pencil looks chubby but it’s light and easy to handle.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration in Honeysuckle ($9.95) We’re now on the 12th box, and it’s another cold-weather essential! This cream has a whipped texture that gets easily absorbed by the skin to provide hydration and also to soothe minor skin irritation. It can be used from head to toe and the gentle formula ideal even for those with sensitive skin and eczema. Another thing I loved about it is that it didn’t leave my skin greasy after application. Key ingredients include colloidal oatmeal and shea butter.

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara ($26 Full-Size) Adding to the eye makeup items in the advent calendar is this mascara! It helps add volume to your lashes, as well as a carbon-black finish that makes your eyes look more dramatic.

The formula is enhanced by keratin and shea butter to help condition your lashes.

It comes with a brush that helps you lift your lashes for a beautiful curl.

3INA The Cream Eyeshadow in 313 ($14.28) Shimmery nude eye shadows like this one never goes out of style, especially for the holidays. Ideal for glamming up your eyes, this creamy eye shadow is light, long-lasting, and well-pigmented. It’s even waterproof! To make it gentle for the skin, it contains essential oils that provide hydration and nourishment.

Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleep Mask ($16) Antioxidant-rich pomegranate is the star of this facial mask! It helps repair dull and dry skin, so it becomes brighter and healthier with continued use. The formula is vegan and cruelty-free to boot. It’s ideally used 2-3 times a week.

Invisibobble Got to Glow in Holiday ($5.50) The box included 3 black hair rings! Like other Invisibobbles, these are stretchy and gentle on the hair.

Also included is a star charm, which adds a touch of cuteness to the plain hair ties!

Absolute New York Matte Made in Heaven Lipstick ($6.99) Here’s a liquid lipstick and a lip liner in one, so you don’t have to waste time to look for matching ones. I got them in Bitten, a dark red shade.

The liquid lipstick is well-pigmented but light and non-drying. As for the lip liner, it has a nice formula and it glides smoothly on my lips. I love the matte finish!

APTO Skincare Healing Mask in Turmeric ($16) As suggested by its name, this mask helps heal the skin inflammation and reduce redness using a blend of azelaic acid and turmeric. Another key ingredient is squalene which promotes hydration. The formula gently removes dead skin cells and even helps prevent breakouts. A little of this product goes a long way. To use, just cleanse your skin, apply a thin layer, wait for 10 minutes, and then rinse.

GLOSSY Makeup Blending Sponge ($16)The 19th item is a Glossybox exclusive! It’s a blending sponge!

Soft and fluffy, this blending sponge can be used for foundation, BB cream, powder, or even concealer.

It allows easy makeup application and, of course, helps you avoid wasting products because the doesn’t absorb it.

Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer in Copper Dream ($6.56) The second nail polish is in the 20th box! I got it in Copper Dream, a metallic copper color. The warm shade is perfect for the season. It goes on smoothly, no clumps or streaks at all. Just a few swipes and you’re good to go. The metallic finish is quite stunning. The formula is also free from harmful ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP.

Patchology Moodpatch Eye Gels ($6) The holiday rush could be tiring, so these eye gels would be really useful whenever I need a breather! I got 2 packs with 1 pair each. The green pack features eye gels infused with green tea, bergamot, and white mulberry. The pink pack has rose, hibiscus, and lotus flower. I love both!

To use, put each eye gel on your undereye area for at least 10 minutes. They’re soothing and cooling, plus they help remove puffiness!

Giorgio Armani Beauty Homme Code Absolu ($4.60) and Femme Code Absolu Eau De Parfum ($1.92) Next up, I got 2 luxury fragrances! One is for men, which has keynotes of rum accord, vanilla, and tonka bean. It’s warm, sweet, and alluring at the same time. The second fragrance is for women, boasting of ginger, tuberose, and jasmine notes. It’s elegant and definitely seductive.

Both fragrances have strong sillage. It’s great that they included two, so you can give the other to your S.O. If you want to keep it for yourself, that’s okay too!

Context Micro-Derm Regenator ($8.75) An exfoliator and cleanser in one, this formula helps decongest your skin, remove dead skin cells, and fight free radicals by utilizing Aluminum Oxide Crystals and a blend of healthy oils. It promises to leave your skin smoother and brighter, and it’s also gentle enough for all skin types. You’ll only need a small amount of the product for each use. Just massage it onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.

Steve Laurant Lip Gloss in Eggplant ($22) A few swipes of this lip gloss is all I need to keep my lips dazzling for parties. I got it in Eggplant, a violet shade. This luxurious gloss feels silky when applied, and I love that it doesn’t turn sticky when it dries. It’s also light and hydrating.

We’re finally on to the most awaited box!

There’s not just one but two items, an eyeshadow palette and a brush!

Ciate Trend Edit Eyeshadow Palette ($24) Luxie Eyeshadow Brush($12)The most anticipated items didn’t disappoint! I got a fantastic eyeshadow palette with versatile shades, plus a brush that makes it easy to apply them.
