Set Of Plates Designed by Natalie Curtiss ($36) The featured artist this month made a really fun and beautiful Halloween-themed artwork on plates. We got four pieces of these awesome plates!
The illustration shows kids going around the neighborhood to score some sweets and treats! A black cat was leading the kids who appear in different costumes like a witch, a cowboy, a ghost, and a vampire!
Retro Decorations by Beistle ($6.99) To make Halloween decorating easier, they also included a set of retro cut-outs!
The Beistle Company, the maker of this decor, has manufactured party goods and decorations since the 1900s, so you can see how creative and artistic they are with their crafts.
There are four designs which are mostly in black and orange! There is the moon with 2 cats, a cat pulling a carriage with a witch, a witch’s and a cat’s face, and lastly, a jack o’ lantern with black cats!
I also got this pack of black kitty streamers!
The designs are originally made in 1948! Wow, this is just reproduction and I’m glad that I got one!
The kitty heads are connected with several kitty images as well.
There are 5 kitty heads on the whole streamer, each having different facial expressions!
Napkins by Beistle ($4.99) To go with the black and orange theme, I also got this set of vintage black cat napkins! The black cat on the illustration looks surprised!
I love the Halloween-themed items this month! Everything looks retro and fun, and it definitely took us back to the Halloween celebrations way back when we’re younger! I love the retro candies, I can’t even remember the last time I had those treats, especially the sweet and chewy taffy. I love the featured artist’s plate, and the napkin and decorating cut-outs that look perfect together! I am so ready for the festivities, time to pick up a retro costume as well! May we all have a fun Halloween! I am excited about the next box’s retro-theme!
