Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription box that brings only the best and exclusive Sephora beauty and makeup samples. The subscription costs $10 per month, and you’ll get 5 deluxe beauty products, playlists, a fragrance bonus item, plus coupons you can use when you visit in-store.

The items were neatly packed!

The fold-out poster has a really cute illustration of this month’s theme and a lot of helpful tips on skin care and makeup. Plus, a reminder that you can now use your Play! Pass online! That little card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box, in-store or online. You can also get a complimentary mini makeover!

This month’s theme is Play Bae!

The fold-out poster also shows a list of all the items included in this box.

Your subscription also entitles you to PLAY! Date meetups if your store participates. I don’t even have a Sephora (not even a JCP one) but this box totally excites me even without those experiences. I love the high-end brands every month for just $10.

The items are packed in a blue transparent plastic pouch. They’re so handy, I love reusing them!

Everything in my box! See the spoilers for all the variations here. Your box could vary – it’s built off your profile!

Giorgio Armani Beauty Sì Passione Eau de Parfum ($2.16) This month’s perfume sample boasts of fruity florals, including notes of blackcurrant, rose de mai, and musk.

It has a great staying power, I didn’t have to reapply every now and then.

I also like its feminine scent that is alluring but not overwhelming. It’s something you’d want to wear on a dinner date!

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask ($4.50) Here’s a hair mask packed with rosehip oil, algae extract, B-vitamins, and almond oil, which all work together to eliminate our dry and damaged hair woes. It’s ideally used every two weeks, and it works for most hair types. Aside from providing hydration and keeping the hair frizz-free, this mask also helps reduce hair breakage.

First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer ($16.47) This primer is infused with salicylic acid and fig extract to help control oiliness and minimize pores, so your makeup stays fresh all day. Smooth and weightless, it preps the skin for makeup application by improving its texture. The formula is also non-comedogenic, so you don’t have to worry about the product clogging your pores. It has a nice scent as well!

Nudestix Nudies Boom All Over Dewy Color in Poppy Girl ($8.96) It’s a multi-tasking balm that can be used on your eyes, cheeks, or lips. I love the creamy formula and the intense color payoff!

The shade is Poppy Girl, a vivid coral shade with a satin finish.

Just a few swipes and it gave my cheeks and lips a vibrant pop of color. The formula is blendable and buildable as well.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder in Translucent ($5) A thin layer of this loose powder is enough to keep my makeup fresh and grease-free. It blurred skin imperfections and left a lasting matte finish!

Made with a silicon-based formula, the powder is transparent and weightless, keeping the skin look as natural as possible no matter what skin tone.

It’s ideally applied using a fluffy brush. Since a little goes a long way, I think this one will last me for a while.

Youth To The People Superfood Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer ($6) A blend of skin-loving superfoods were infused in this cream including kale, spinach, and green tea. It’s potent yet light as a feather, giving your skin a boost of hydration and nourishment it deserves minus the adverse effects.

Another key ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which is known to be highly hydrating. Aside from eliminating dryness, this cream also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It sank right in and my skin never felt so good!

From hair care to skincare to makeup, Sephora Play knows exactly what kinds of products can make me feel good and look good! I love the curation this month, which included some makeup essentials and a rich superfood-infused face cream. There’s even a perfume sample and it’s exactly what I’m looking for in a scent. The total retail value is $43, way more than the monthly subscription cost! With such great value and amazing brands featured, it’s no doubt a bang for your buck!
