Everything in my box!

Lesser Evil Paleo Puffs “No Cheese” Cheesiness ($0.87) I don’t know that these are exactly the same as Cheetos, but if you are looking for something similar to that snack but want it to be vegan then this isn’t a bad substitute. I actually liked the flavor, even though the consistency was a little different from what I’m used to.

Macro Snacks BBQ Sauce ($2.83) We received chicharones (fried pork skins) in this box and this was similar in consistency. The flavor was strongly of BBQ and chili powder, with some sweetness. This is pea-based instead of pork based so I would probably choose this over the pork product.

Orgain Kids Protein Chocolate Nutritional Shake ($2.08) Sometimes we receive snacks meant for younger kids, which is great if you have school-aged children, not so much of you have only adults in the home. My teenager will probably drink this because it’s kind of nostalgic. I am not so excited that sugar is the second ingredient after water though.

Prince of Peace Peanut Butter Ginger Chews ($7.57) There are about 21 pieces of individually wrapped candies in this bag. I never would have thought to put ginger and peanut butter together but I’m kind of getting a Thai dipping sauce vibe from these candies, but without the saltiness. They have a little bit of burn to them and may help settle a queasy stomach.

4505 Chicharrones Fried Pork Rinds ($3.25) I am not really a fried pork skin kind of gal but I tried one before passing them on to my husband. I thought they had a strong pork flavor and were pretty salty.

PopCorners Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn ($0.48) I never even had a chance to try these since my daughter grabbed them up first. They are made with non-GMO corn and have a sweet and salty flavor.

Crunchsters Barbeque ($2.25) I remember receiving these back in the spring and I liked them so I will place them in my work bag for emergency snack time. Beats grabbing a candy bar from the vending machine!

Janis & Melanie Key Lime Cookies are similar to sandies but without the nuts and with a bright burst of lime flavor. They are covered in powdered sugar and make a tasty dessert.

Kodiak Cakes Bear Bites Frontier Graham Crackers ($0.86) went into my daughter’s lunch box as a special treat.

Appleways Apple Simply Wholesome Oatmeal Bar ($0.76) I think of these as an alternative to Nutri Grain bars. Probably better off thinking of these as a snack and not a meal replacement since they don’t really offer much fiber or staying power.

Grenade Carb Killa Go Nuts Protein Nut Bar ($2.06) I love to snack on nutty bars and this one promised to take out my hunger.

I liked the nuts and chewy texture. I think there is supposed to be chocolate in here but look at that bottom layer, it was more like pureed fruit or something.

Zee Zee’s Roasted Sunflower Kernels ($0.53) I’ve tried this brand in the past and really like them however my bag was full of rancid seeds. Blech!

Bobo’s Oat Bites in Coconut ($0.85)  I stuck this one in my lunch box for dessert.

I honestly didn’t realize it was supposed to taste like coconut, it tasted like an oatmeal cookie instead. I wasn’t real happy with the texture, it was rather dense and hard to bite off, but that might have been because it was sitting on my ice pack.

Welch’s Superfruit Mix Fruit Snacks ($2.16) went in my daughter’s lunch box because chewy candies are not really my thing but they are so totally her thing.

Double Dutch Caramel Stroopwafel ($2) has a chewy caramel middle sandwiched between two waffle cookies. Perfect for an afternoon coffee or tea break – just set the cookie on top of a hot cuppa and let the heat warm the cookie!

Tillamook Country Smoker Original Smoked Meat Stick ($1.50) We receive something similar to this every month and even my daughter and husband (who usually would eat this) are tired of them. We just don’t reach for a chewy piece of meat for a snack anymore.

Simply Straws Free Straw Offer ($7 value) I received a code to redeem for a reusable straw at Simply Straws. You can get a glass straw for $7 or save $7 off of a different type on the website.

Love With Food sends some pretty cool snacks, and I love discovering new brands and flavors and receiving older favorites. I think you can expect at least one meat stick and one kid-friendly snack in each box. I am happy to have snacks to throw in my bag and they beat the stuff I see in vending machines in the teachers’ lounge. I don’t think anything really blew me away this time around but they are pretty solid snacks.
