Everything in my box!

Sunday Riley Mini Zip Pouch. The zip pouch is really adorable. It looks like it’s made out of heart-shaped yellow bubble wrap.

Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum ($14.45) Packed with retinoid ester blend and liposomal-encapsulated retinol blend, this serum helps fight signs of aging while improving the look of congested and UV-damaged skin.

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment ($15.80) It’s a lactic acid treatment which helps clarify, smooth and improve the overall appearance of your skin.

I love Sunday Riley products, and I was excited to try these! The retinoid serum feels great on the skin, as it’s lightweight yet potent. Aside from its anti-aging properties, it also soothes the skin and makes it even-toned.

The lactic acid treatment is fantastic as well. It’s not drying and it doesn’t make me oily either. Continued use promises to give you clearer, more radiant, and youthful skin.

Other key ingredients for the retinoid serum are encapsulated CoQ10, Hawaiian white honey, bisabolol, cactus extract, and ginger. As for the lactic acid treatment, it’s formulated with high potency, purified grade lactic acid, and enhanced with licorice extract that brightens the appearance of age spots and other skin discolorations.

R+Co Foiled Frizz and Static Control Spray ($24.94) I have troubles with flyaways, especially when I sport a shoulder-length cut, and roller brushes aren’t really effective in keeping my hair tucked in place. Now, controlling frizz and flyaways is made easy with this FOIL, as this spray creates flexible and long-lasting control on hair while keeping it shiny and smooth.

The spray smells good as it has a bright oriental fragrance from Juniper berries, blood orange, rhubarb, leather accord, violet, and dark woods. The formula also contains argan oil that nourishes and keeps the tresses truly manageable.

Tan-Luxe The Body Illuminating Self-Tan Drops in Light/Medium ($59) Summer calls for sun-kissed skin, so here’s a firming tan concentrate that provides a customized glow. It works for all skin types, even with oily and sensitive ones, and with any moisturizer or body butter to create a hydrated, natural-looking tan.

It’s formulated with naturally-derived raspberry seed oil, vitamin E, and aloe vera. The drops provide all-day hydration that keeps the skin from turning dry, dull, and have an uneven texture. It also keeps the skin firm and elastic, plus it has Cellutone Complex that helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Coola Mineral Liplux SPF 30 Organic Tinted Lip in Skinny Dip ($18) This nude organic tinted lip balm with SPF 30 protects the lips from the sun’s harmful rays. It glides easily to add a hint of natural color on the lips while keeping it moisturized.

The formula feels soothing on my lips. It contains organic cupuacu butter and Mongongo oil that gives the balm a creamy texture. The scent is amazing too, as it has natural fruit oils that give off a light fig scent.

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream ($65) This water cream is great for normal, dry, or even combination skin! It helps eliminate dark spots, dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, making the skin bright and refined.

The formula contains highly purified Alpha-Arbutin 1% that brightens the appearance of discolorations, Papain or papaya enzymes that exfoliates and smooths the upper layer of skin, hyaluronic acid that pulls water into the skin that keeps it hydrated for 24 hours, and tamarind extract that helps improve skin moisturization.

The formula is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, and phthalates, and it’s also cruelty-free.

To use, just apply to the skin twice a day to visibly brighten discolorations over time. You can also use it on top of makeup to seal in hydration and radiance. This is one of my fave products, period, so I was thrilled to receive it in this box!

Boy Smells Scented Candle in Kush ($16) A perennial fave, this candle has the nice and intoxicating scent with notes of cannabis flowers, brushed suede, white musk, tulip, and amber.

It comes in an embossed matte pink carton. The candle itself is made of coconut and beeswax with a braided cotton wick, placed in a glossy black glass tumbler.

Take note, this product doesn’t contain actual cannabis!

W&P Design Cocktail Kit in Italian Spritz ($24) Using this kit, you can whip up a special cocktail for yourself or a companion wherever you are!

It comes with a jacket that tells us more about the product. It also lists the contents of the package like Spritz Syrup, 1/2 oz. Jigger, bar spoon, and a linen coaster.

The kit is complete with all the tools you need to craft two Italian Spritz mid-flight.

The red tin looks nice, it’s like you just brought a tin of mints, nobody would suspect that it contains tools to make a special drink!

Aside from the tin container, everything placed inside a canvas pouch, and a small instruction sheet is also included.

Everything is inspired by Italian Aperitivo culture. You can actually make two sparkling Spritz out of everything in this kit, just provide some ice and Prosecco, and some orange rounds!

Lena Bernard Delfina Cuff Bracelet ($78) Minimalist accessories sometimes are the best pieces you can have as they are easily matched with others in your jewelry box. This cuff bracelet is made by LA-based designer Lena Bernard.

The cuff bracelet is placed inside a drawstring pouch featuring Lena’s name and signature.

It has a brass setting that shows the beauty and sparkle of green aventurine.

Aventurine is a form of quartz characterized by its translucency and presence of platy minerals that give it a glistening effect. Its common color is green.

Aside from keeping you stylish, green Aventurine is known for many benefits. It’s known to be an all-around healing stone that benefits the liver, lungs, sinuses, and heart. It also loosens and releases negativity and energy blockages like diseases. You can also wear this piece to increase intelligence, creativity, and perception.

Real Techniques Everyday Essentials Brush Set ($20) I also got a set of nice brushes from this quarter’s box, which can be used for foundations, concealers, blushes, highlighters, and shadow!

Aside from chic-looking brushes, the pack also contains a make-up sponge!

All the brushes are cruelty-free, and can be used to instantly and easily cover, color, and blend! Also, it’s best to clean the brushes weekly using a Brush Cleansing Gel.

Every brush is also labeled, so you won’t get confused on what to use on certain areas of your face.

First is the Miracle Complexion Sponge®. It’s a soft and flexible foam used to blend creams and liquids to make a dewy finish. When it comes to sponges, a wet and dry application can be done. You can use it dry for full coverage, and damp it for a dewy glow.

The first brush is RT 400, which is a blush brush. The brush can easily blend powder blush that will definitely give you a natural look.

I love how it easily picks off the product because of its tapered, soft, and fluffy bristles.

The Expert Face Brush, or RT 200, can easily buff liquid or cream foundation to give you nice and glowing skin.

The brush’s firm bristles result in a flawless finish!

RT 402 or the Setting Brush can be used to just dust highlighting or setting powders precisely on your face. The soft and fluffy bristles can create a natural-looking illumination.

RT 300, or the Deluxe Crease brush, has soft and dense bristles.

It is best for layering and blending cream and powder eyeshadows evenly into the eye creases!

Simon & Schuster Say You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker ($11.90)

The bestselling author of The Simple Wild and Keep Her Safe and “master of steamy romance” (Kirkus Reviews) delivers a sizzling novel about an ambitious and high-powered executive who reconnects with her first love: the boy who broke her heart.

Life is a mixed bag for Piper Calloway.

On the one hand, she’s a twenty-nine-year-old VP at her dad’s multibillion-dollar real estate development firm, and living the high single life with her two best friends in a swanky downtown penthouse. On the other hand, she’s considered a pair of sexy legs in a male-dominated world and constantly has to prove her worth. Plus she’s stuck seeing her narcissistic ex-fiancé—a fellow VP—on the other side of her glass office wall every day.

Things get exponentially more complicated for Piper when she runs into Kyle Miller—the handsome new security guard at Calloway Group, and coincidentally the first love of her life.

The guy she hasn’t seen or heard from since they were summer camp counselors together. The guy from the wrong side of the tracks. The guy who apparently doesn’t even remember her name.

Piper may be a high-powered businesswoman now, but she soon realizes that her schoolgirl crush is still alive and strong, and crippling her concentration. What’s more, despite Kyle’s distant attitude, she’s convinced their reunion isn’t at all coincidental, and that his feelings for her still run deep. And she’s determined to make him admit to them, no matter the consequences.

The box also included a novel that will remind us of teenage crushes and first love!

It is the story of the young VP Piper, when she again saw her first love, the new security guard, Kyle.

It’s nice to read romantic novels once in a while. They may sound cheesy but those that give a strong feeling of nostalgia is fine, like this story.

It’ll be a nice book to bring on trips or beach vacation! Romance is one of the go-to genres for me, especially when I just want to keep myself entertained by reading.

Sunday Riley Box, as always, is jampacked with fun and useful stuff! There are products made to protect and nourish the skin, and my favorites are the retinoid serum and the lactic acid treatment. They even included something to tame my frizz and flyaways, and I like how it kept my hair nice and smooth. The book is also a nice addition, I can use it to entertain myself during a quiet stay at the beach. The brush set also made it easier for me to apply makeup products, and I even got brushes for specific areas on my face, and a nice makeup sponge too. The candle smells amazing, and I would like to keep it lit inside our room! This is really a nice curation for the season, and I’m excited for the next one!
