Every month I try to guess what scent will be featured based on the sticker that’s placed on the outside of the box (see previous picture). I was very excited when I saw the anchor!
Everything was tucked into shredded paper squiggles.
I found a card that announced the July theme, Ocean Breeze.
The back of the card gave a little intro to this month’s theme and items.
Next was an insert on the products.
The insert gave a little info for each item, its MSRP, and listed a website in case you need more.
Everything in my July 2019 NOSEJOY box! The items not only smell good, they are also pretty to look at and fun to use. It’s no secret that this is one of my favorite subscription boxes!
Old Whaling Co. Seaweed + Sea Salt Bath Bomb ($6) I usually keep bath bombs around as a sort of air freshener and this one is strong enough to scent my small office!
Ingredients are right on the box and include the basic baking soda and citric acid combo to get things bubbling.
Isn’t this just adorable, it looks like it has beach sand right on the bomb! You know how we say something smells like Coppertone? Well, apparently I’ve been lying all this time because this smells EXACTLY like the classic sunscreen! Makes me want to put on some Beach Boys and surf-dance around the house!
Kalastyle Swedish Dream Sea Salt Hand Soap ($11) I rarely get hand soaps from subscription boxes so I appreciate that NOSEJOY sends them occasionally. They always send the neatest scents, like this one that also has a beachy feeling. It sudsed up really well and left my hands soft.
Mangiacotti Hand Sanitizer Spray ($6.50) I know this says alcohol-free but I couldn’t find the ingredients listed anywhere so I’m not sure what this is made of.
It dries quickly and has a fleeting scent, maybe it has citrus and there is a green note to it. Still, I would like to know exactly what I am spraying on my skin!
Old Whaling Co Coastal Calm Roll-On Perfume ($12) is from the same company that made the amazing bath bomb!
It is made of sunflower oil, calendula oil, and fragrance.
The scent is described as “watery, clean, floral” and I think that covers it! It has a warm floral scent with a “sea breeze” feel. It is stronger and more perfumed than an essential oil roll on but it doesn’t last too long. Luckily it is portable so you can reapply as needed!
Natural Inspirations Sea Salt Citrus Ultra Moisturizing Body Butter ($8) What a lovely scented lotion! It is thicker than a typical lotion but not as thick as a body butter but since the base is water and aloe then that makes sense.
The fragrance is described as a “sparkling scent of citrus aloft sea breezes of marine, jasmine, sandalwood and amber” and is very long lasting for a body lotion. A warm floral is how I would describe it.
NOSEJOY always seems to know what I need and when I need it. I received this box the day before heading off to a beach vacation so it really got me in the mood for my tropical trip! The bath bomb reminds me of the suntan lotion of my youth while the hand soap gave me a similar feeling. The oil is lovely and the lotion scent is so long lasting, no other perfume is needed. The hanitizer smells good but I do want to know what exactly is killing the germs! NOSEJOY sure picks some unique items and they always smells amazing!
Have you tried NOSEJOY? What do you think of this box?

Hey, Deb! The ingredients for the hand sanitizer are under the label on the spray bottle itself. Look for the “peel here” near a corner, similar to on a medicine bottle. The pretty packaging does make it hard to find! And now I see that they don’t list ingredients on their website… not sure why.
Ahh, thank you so much Emily, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that! If anyone is curious, they had a “drug facts” label underneath and the active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride. Mystery solved!
