nmnl is a monthly beauty subscription box by the brains behind Tokyo Treat and Yume Twins. This is the new and improved nmnl! For the last few years since their launch, they have only included Japanese beauty brands but have taken subscriber wishes into consideration and have redesigned it to feature both Japanese and Korean beauty!
DEAL: Use coupon code HELLOSUBS at checkout to save 10% ($3.50) on your first box!
The items were wrapped in pink tissue paper.
The booklet has also been redesigned and features the same content as before, from box contents to contests and photo features.
Crayon Touch-Me Mascara (Volume Type) — Three different variations of mascara were sent out: volume, length, and point for the outer lashes. This is a small size mascara, which is great to travel with. I will keep this as a backup for now, but Japanese mascaras are amazing! They last forever on your lashes.
Mascara Top Coat — To pair with our new mascara is a top coat, meant to seal in the colour and prevent your mascara from flaking. I’ve never used something like this before so this is something I can use in my routine!
Joteki 10 Second Morning Sheets — These refreshing facial sheets are meant to replace some skincare steps in the morning. They have a light, refreshing scent and are lightly hydrating. I wish nmnl had included some information about the ingredients in this product.
Etude House Damask Rose Mask — Etude House’s 0.2mm Mask series are super lightweight sheet masks that fit my face really well. I love rose, and have used these rosewater masks before. Incredibly soothing and hydrating, and the fresh rose scent makes it such a spa-like experience!
Etude House Tea Tree Nose Pack — Pore strips can help remove blackheads, but I tend to be cautious with them because they can actually enlarge your pores if a blackhead isn’t quite ready to be removed. The green tea extract is good for keeping pores clear.
Eyelash Curler — A cute silver eyelash curler with replacement pads for the curler. I don’t curl my lashes personally but I think it’s great when nmnl includes a beauty tool of some kind from Japan!
The Yeon Rose Lips — A kawaii tiny rose compact with a rose-scented tinted balm. This applied sheer but left my lips with a pinky stain. I love it!
Flower Glow Lipstick — This lipstick looks clear, but it changes colour depending on your skin temperature. You can reapply for a stronger look.
Left is the Glower Glow, right is the Rose Lips. I love both!
The flower theme this month was a knockout, and I am in love with the lip products and the facial sheets. What an awesome group of floral goodies for summer!
