Macy’s Beauty Box is a monthly subscription that delivers five deluxe beauty samples, one bonus item, and a collectible cosmetics bag for $15 per month. Beauty Box subscribers also get an exclusive $5 beauty coupon that can be used online and in-store.

This month’s pouch features pink and blue kiss mark prints on a black base color. It’s cute!

The back of the pouch is plain black.

Each package comes with a Macy Beauty Box booklet.

We also got a $5 off coupon. The coupon is valid in-store or online from 7/26/19 until 9/27/19. Check out these categories sorted from low to high price: Bath & Body, Natural BeautyMakeup, Skincare, and Travel-size.

Unfortunately, Macy’s has totally decimated this benefit by starting to charge shipping on beauty orders. This benefit is basically nothing unless you are looking to buy a $49+ item or you can use it in-store.

The information booklet gives you a list of all the items included in the box.

COLOR RIOT

This season, we’re all about pops of color and using bold hues to express yourself–or at least who you’re feeling like today. We’re giving you the makeup, skin care & fragrance to get you there. A $60 VALUE.

Some items even included tips on how to use them.

I missed the booklet and coupon last month, and I’m glad they’re back again!

I’m so excited to dig in!

All of the items fit in the cute pouch.

Everything in the August 2019 Macy’s Beauty Box!

SK-II Facial Treatment Mask ($15.83) The packaging is quite plain-looking, but don’t let it fool you. This sheet mask works wonders. It’s made with cotton, which doesn’t easily get ripped, and soaked in potent serum.

It’s infused with PITERA™, a vitamin-rich and mineral-rich bio-ingredient from yeast fermentation which helps keep your skin plump and hydrated. To use, just put on your face and let it sit for 15 minutes or until the serum gets fully absorbed. It didn’t have an overwhelming scent unlike other masks and it left my skin glowing!

Juicy Couture OUI Eau De Parfum ($2.50) I always look forward to the fragrance samples from this subscription, and this month’s featured one is really excellent, as expected from Juicy Couture perfumes. I like it because it’s just the right mix of fruity and floral notes.

Key notes include watermelon, jasmine absolute, and techno woods. It’s a vibrant and energizing scent that matches the summer season so well!

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Chaos ($22) I got the eye pencil in the shade Chaos, which is described as a vibrant cobalt blue matte. Although not everyone can pull off a blue eyeliner, it’s a great way of adding a pop of color on the eyes.

It’s made in the USA. The formula is waterproof and long-lasting as well.

Now, I get why it’s such a hyped item! It’s super creamy and it does glide on smoothly. No creases or skin tugging at all, making it easier to handle than the usual eye pencils.

Tony Moly Mini Cherry Lip Balm ($10) It’s the cutest lipbalm ever!!! It doesn’t just come in a cherry-shaped packaging but it’s cherry-scented as well.

It’s made with real berry extracts, which are rich in antioxidants that help nourish and hydrate your lips. The lip balm is also lightweight and non-greasy.

The packaging is pretty small and you can practically bring it anywhere in case your lips need some nourishment. My lips tend to get dry easily, so this is really useful for me!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea ($3.50) The moisturizing properties of aloe, cucumber, and green tea are all combined in this multi-purpose facial spray! It can be used with a moisturizer for extra hydration, over makeup to achieve a dewy glow, or just to refresh your skin any time of the day. I love the invigorating scent so much. It’s definitely one of the best facial sprays I’ve tried.

Tarte Cosmetics Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Rose ($3.40) Nude matte lippies will never go out of style. I got one in the box, and it’s a quick-drying rosy nude. The best thing is that it’s transfer-proof so I don’t have to retouch every now and then. The full-coverage formula is light and non-drying as well.

Macy’s Beauty Box did a great job once again! I’m always happy to receive items that address my dry skin concerns, and I got two this month. There are also makeup products that felt luxurious to use, especially the eye pencil. Although its color is not everybody’s cup of tea, its formula is exceptional. I also liked the fruity sample fragrance. My favorites this month are the cherry lip balm and the facial mist, but the others are just as amazing and useful. Total retail value is $57! Also, the coupon is back (I didn’t receive one last month)!
