Kataage Potato Shrimp & Salt. These potato chips were cooked using a slow frying process, making them crunchier than your average chips. They’re flavored with shrimp and salt but they weren’t overwhelming. This snack calls for a cold glass of beer!
Coro Can Soda Soft Candy. Soda-flavored candies like this one are quite popular in Japan and I’m not surprised why! They feel quite refreshing in the mouth! This small, portable pack includes several pieces of soft, round candies featuring a sweet and sour center. They’re great to bring everywhere in case you need an instant pick-me-up.
Chocotto Soft. Don’t worry, this ice cream won’t melt even when it’s hot outside! The ice cream on the cone is actually marshmallow, and inside it is a creamy chocolate filling. It’s really sweet and satisfying!
Sunfull Apple Sour. We got a pack of round-shaped hard candies featuring a sour taste that will give you teary eyes and a distorted face. It’s certainly sharp-tasting, and we love it because we’re big fans of sour candies!
Chu Chu. Chu Chu is a lip-shaped gummy candy, and its name literally means kiss in English. Its juicy grapefruit flavor spreads rapidly inside the mouth in every chew!
Mike’s Pino Strawberry Moon. To make this popcorn special, they mixed strawberry and caramel then used them to coat each piece! It produced a sweet and fruity taste, which is quite addicting. I really can’t help but pop a piece in my mouth, one after another! This makes a great alternative if you’re already tired of the usual salty popcorn!
Neriame (DIY). For this month’s DIY candy, we’re making Neriame, a traditional Japanese candy on a stick! Inside the kit are lemon-flavored syrup and a pair of sticks. All we had to do is to pick up some of the syrup using the stick then stretch and twirl it around until we’ve formed a candy.
Okonomiyaki Taro. This crispy snack is inspired by okonomiyaki, a savory pancake that is very popular in Japan. It’s made with squid and fish, plus a savory flavoring. It’s a great on-the-go snack as well.
Porikky Brown Sugar. These are crunchy and flavorful pretzel sticks are similar to Pocky. Each piece is coated with brown sugar, giving it a satisfyingly sweet taste!
Grilled Corn Crackers. These crunchy biscuits infused with grilled corn flavor are really tasty. I never even thought a snack with a grilled corn flavor exists. It also has a hint of soy sauce, which blends perfectly with the crackers. It’s another ideal treat for savory snack lovers!
Hi-Chew Banana. This month’s version of Hi-Chew features a delicious burst of sweet banana flavor. It’s one of the most well-known treats in Japan and now I understand why. Each piece is flavorful until the last chew! Inside the pack are 10 bite-sized pieces of chewy candies perfect for sharing with the whole family.
Ramune Caramel Corn. Tohato’s caramel corn puffs are undoubtedly delicious. This version of Tohato features their trademark caramel corn snack infused with ramune or carbonated soft drink flavor. Its taste is similar to sweetened breakfast cereals.
Ichigo Yogurt Cracker. It’s a yummy strawberry and yogurt cracker that features a balance sweet and sour taste. Every piece is baked to perfection, resulting to a crunchy delicious biscuit with a taste of real strawberry flavor. I recommend to pair it with a cup of coffee or chocolate!
Sours Jewel Pineapple. It’s a juicy pineapple-flavored gummies sprinkled with colorful crystal sugar coating, producing a scrumptious chewy filled with mouthwatering taste of real pineapple flavor. It’s so sweet and very delightful, making it the ideal after meal snack to munch on!
