Each month includes an information card.

On one side of the card, Fit Snack provides a workout for the month. I sometimes do them after a run when I still have a lot of juice left and I want to push myself a bit more.

On the other side of the information card, there are details about each of the items.

Purely Inspired Organic Protein – Vanilla. I love when we receive more than one sample. I can try one sample and if I like it, I can use the other sample for when I’m travelling and I want my protein powder already portioned. Each package contains 20g of plant protein (from organic pea protein and organic brown rice protein), has 7g of fiber and only 2g of protein. It’s sweetened with stevia and organic cane sugar.

Plotz Honey Nutters. These little bite-sized treats are made with peanuts, honey, peanut butter, crisp brown rice (that adds a crispy texture to the crunch of the peanuts), sunflower and pumpkin seeds, almonds and raisins.

It was hot in my mailbox, so instead of getting little bites, they came in one big piece. It was still tasty.

MCT Bar in cocoa. These bars contain 10g of protein (collagen) and 5g of MCT (Medium-chain triglyceride from coconut oil) and only has 3g of carbs, making them the perfect snack for people on the Keto diet. Because it was hot when the box was delivered, one of the bars leaked coconut oil in the box. I really don’t like the taste as they are not sweet at all and a bit chalky.

Chinook Tex Seedery – Original Sunflower Seeds. If you like sunflower seeds, you’ll like them. They are only slightly salted, just enough to enhance the flavor. I love sunflower in their shell as they are nutritious, and it takes a bit more time to eat them.

Gorilla Goods Activated Hillside Pumpkin Seed & Kale. This blend contains organic pumpkin seeds and organic kale, as well as organic tamari, onion, nutritional yeast, and cayenne. It was crunchy and satisfying, but I didn’t really care for the taste.

Organic Chickpea puffs Hippeas – Bohemian Barbecue. With 6g of protein and 5g of fiber in this little bag, they were a win with my husband. He said the sweet tomato bbq flavor was spot on and delicious.

Supernola – Dragonfruit Lemon Zest. These clusters are made with almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut, walnuts, pecans, brazil nuts, dried dragon fruit, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, red maca, lemon oil, and ginger.

There was a lot going on in these, but the lemon and coconut flavors were overwhelming and I couldn’t taste the dragon fruit at all.

Bone Broth Instant Beverage Mix. Adding bone broth to my diet is something I wanted to do for a while, so these came in handy. And I love the convenience of instant beverage mix. They are made with beef bone broth, collagen, baker’s yeast, tomato powder, chicory root fiber, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and shiitake mushroom. And it’s easy to make, just mix one packet with hot water and voilà! A delicious broth!

I really like this month’s Fitsnack box. I always like when we have more than one of a bar or a sample as it’s better for sharing! I’m really happy that I got to taste a new plant-based protein powder, and the bone broth was a nice addition. And I really like that this box comes with a new workout every month to add some variety in my workout routine.
