Everything in my box!
Monthly Theme Art Sticker. Every month, subscribers get a sticker featuring the same illustration as the information card. Designed by Diana Dworak, it has Caledonia Styx from the fantasy Trilogy, Seafire.
Zodiac Bookmark ($8) This month’s Cancer bookmark features Juliette from the Shatter Me Series.
We’re halfway in completing the whole piece!
Nevernight Enamel Pin ($10) The enamel pin this month is inspired by Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, and the beautiful design is again by Dust & Pages.
Nevernight is a story about a woman, Mia Corvere, seeking revenge for her destroyed family. She becomes an apprentice to the Red Church, a flock of deadliest assassins. These explain the blade as the design of the pin, Mia being an assassin, plus the gift that she has which is the ability to speak with the shadows.
Beauty and The Beast Shirt ($25) For the monthly shirt, I got one inspired by a Disney’s classic, Beauty and The Beast!
There are words from the song “Belle”, which Belle and an ensemble of supporting casts sang at the start of both the animated film and the live-action adaptation. The text is also surrounded and framed by roses, Belle’s favorite flowers.
A Darker Shade of Magic Book Sleeve ($17) Here’s an item to represent A Darker Shade of Magic, a fantasy novel, in this month’s box! It’s a book sleeve that actually looks like a laptop sleeve, and it features the words of Delilah Bard:
I’d rather die on an adventure than live standing still.
Beauty And The Beast Earrings ($8) The accessory arrived in a beautiful blue organza pouch. It’s a pair of earrings inspired by Beauty and The Beast!
What symbol can represent this classic the best? Of course, it’s the enchanted rose! These studs look simple yet really pretty!
A Land Before Time Dino Airplant ($16) Land Before Time is another animated classic that kids love, even those from the new generation. The story is heartwarming, plus the characters are real darlings. Here’s a dino airplant inspired by one of the adorable characters, the sweet but strong-willed triceratops, Cera!
Aside from holding some plants or succulents, it’s also a nice display for the office or for your study desk. It really reminds me of the great adventure of the little dinos, and how they cherish the friendship they have!
The theme may be “Far From Home” but this month’s items definitely hit home! I love the Beauty and the Beast inspired shirt and earrings! The shirt is light and comfy, and the earrings are small but nice studs. The book sleeve is another nice piece and it’ll keep my books protected from dirt and dust. Meanwhile, Cera made me feel nostalgic big time! I really like the animation and the story of these adorable little dinos. The box also gets some nice titles in our radar, like YA books and novels that look promising!
Tell me what you thought about this month’s Bookish Box!
