Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” Petit Vour is $18 a month for 4-5 cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Prepay for 12 boxes and the price drops to $15 a box! Each box will have a value of between $45-$60. Petit Vour has around 30 ingredients that they pledge NOT to put in boxes and of course, each item must be vegan and cruelty-free. You can find that list of banned ingredients here.

The Petit Vour Beauty Box is made for the beauty devotee whose lifestyle leans toward compassion.
Each month we’ll share the best in plant-based beauty, culled from beauty’s kindest. Inside you’ll find generously-sized products (personalized to your beauty profile) for you to apply, blend, buff, lather, soak, and spray.

The items were packed in white paper squiggles. I think Petit Vour does a great job at presenting a pretty box.

Petit Vour sends a lovely product information card. This one is artsy, I think those are cacti!

The inside of the card listed each item, some info about the item, and the value.

The back of the card gave info on how to earn reward points, plus if you share a photo of your box on social media your picture may be featured!

The products were tucked into shredded paper squiggles.

Everything in my box!

French Girl Lait De Rose Vitamin C Polishing Wash ($25.18) is a powder exfoliator. You add water or plant hydrosol (like rose water) and use it to scrub the face.

Ingredients were listed on the jar and include coconut oil (which softens skin), bamboo and pomegranate powder (for physical exfoliation), white willow bark (as an enzymatic exfoliator), plus white and pink clay.

The powder was packed into the jar but I used a toothpick to loosen it up before pouring into a dish.

I mixed it with a little water and then gave it a stir with my finger. I used it to gently exfoliate my face and it had a fine graininess, like salt or sugar. Luckily it wasn’t too rough and my skin felt softer after I rinsed it off.

After Hours Soothing Night Cream ($12.94) is pH balanced to help stressed skin recover and become more vibrant and glowy.

Ingredients were listed right on the jar and include coconut and almond oils, reishi, and several plant extracts.

It felt luxurious when I placed it on my skin and smells so nice, like lavender and lemon. My skin absorbed it quickly. Use after cleansing (and after serum if you use one) before bed to help repair skin while you sleep!

Ursa Major Bright & Easy Flash Mask (No size given, maybe $6.47 value? $44 for Full-Size 1.7 oz.) is supposed to exfoliate facial skin without any harsh side effects and is meant for all skin types.

The scent is very light and smells green and herbaceous. It has aloe, witch hazel, and sadly alcohol is the third ingredient, which is drying for skin. Most of the rest of the ingredients are herbal in nature. I applied it to my face and waited 3 minutes before rinsing. I didn’t notice any irritation but then again I didn’t notice anything at all – my skin didn’t feel softer, smoother, nothing.

Terre Mère Smudge Proof Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Base ($36) I really needed an eyeshadow primer and this one has anti-aging benefits so I couldn’t wait to try it!

Coconut water forms the base while shea butter is moisturizing. “Optical blurring pigments” are supposed to diffuse the light and help skin look flawless, which seems more important for the face and not the eyes, since shadow goes on over top, at least on my lids.

Here it is before being blended out. When I applied it to my lids I noticed it felt cooling but I think that’s because it was kind of watery, and it dripped to under my eyes. I gently patted it around but then I couldn’t see it at all. I think it made a decent base for my shadow but it did crease by midday. Maybe I applied it incorrectly so I will play around with this and hope that the anti-aging effects at least do something for my eye area.

Petit Vour is a great way to try natural beauty products! Most of the items were a hit with me and I think this is a great way to decide what I want to spend my money on in the future. It also helps me decide where NOT to spend my money – after all, every product won’t always be a hit with every subscriber. My favorite item this month was the Lait de Rose scrub because it was gentle yet effective. The value for the July box was around $80.59!
