I like the product info cards that Pearlesque provides, they give a brief snapshot into the featured brand, which for June is Telluride Glow:

Growing where the earth meets the sky, timeless alpine plants produce powerful antioxidants, phytonutrients, and UV defenses to not only survive, but thrive, in extreme climates. TellurideGlow taps into these adaptive strategies to protect against dehydration, free radical damage, and signs of premature aging.

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

Everything in my June 2019 Pearlesque Box! Telluride Glow only offers two skincare products and two accessories (a brush and bowl), so these are their main items!

Telluride Glow Alpine Pure Oil ($69) “A synergetic, lightweight wellness oil brimming with 96% organic actives, globally curated and infused with fragrant aromatherapy essences to restore skin’s balance, vivacity, strength, and natural luminosity.”

Telluride Glow is a multi-tasking oil that can be used as a moisturizer, cleanser, body oil, hair tamer, and aroma-therapeutic hand softener!

Make sure to use it up within 12 months after opening.

The whole premise of this line is that plants grown in punishing conditions produce botanicals that help them not only survive but thrive, and that maybe they can help our tired skin do the same.

They promise a reduction in fine lines and blotchiness and a boost in tone and feel of the skin.

Ingredients include jojoba and coconut oils, Arctic Cloudberry seed oil, and various essential oils, including citrus. Make sure to wear sunscreen as those oils may make skin more sensitive to the sun. I tried this product as an oil cleanser and first step in a two-part cleansing routine but preferred it as a moisturizer. The scent was herbal and the oil was amber colored. My skin absorbed it quickly. I’m going to give it a try as a body oil too.

Telluride Glow Snow Rose Powder ($75) “SNOW ROSE Recovery Mask is a gentle, remineralizing infusion of White Kaolin Clay with silky regenerative alpine actives for a remarkable powder-to-mousse transformation of lackluster complexions. With Snow Mushroom and Rose Petals, this resurfacing masterpiece elegantly hydrates and brightens, revealing luminous, soft, dewy and polished skin beneath.”

It is suggested that you use this mask once or twice a week and it can be used on the face, neck, decolletage, and back of hands. If you are using it on just the face, there should be enough product for 21 uses, but only 7 uses if you apply to all of those aforementioned places.

Snow mushroom and rose helps refine the skin while white clay draws out impurities.

The rest of the ingredients were listed on the box and if you go to the Telluride Glow website they will tell you the benefits of each ingredient.

Mix one tablespoon of powder with warm water until it turns into the consistency of mousse. You can add a drop of the Alpine Oil if your skin is dry or you want some extra nutrients. Let dry for about 10 minutes and then rinse thoroughly while in the shower or bath.

It looks kind of pink in the bowl but turned purple on my face! I left it on as directed and noticed that it hadn’t dried all the way, which is what I prefer since I have dry, sensitive skin. I did experience some itching around my neck, just under my chin, but other than that no tingling or burning. I jumped in the shower and put some warm water on my hands and then rubbed it around on my face for a gentle exfoliation before finally rinsing it all off under the shower head. The scent was natural but pleasant and I thought it was a good mask!

I think Pearlesque Box is a great way to get a hold of some pricey skincare for less money than buying them directly from the source. I will say that a skin oil or serum is included most months so if oils are not your thing then maybe take a look at past boxes before committing. I happen to love facial oils but even I wish that body care was included a bit more often. The value for the June box was around $144, which may be the highest value box that I’ve received from Pearlesque yet!

FYI: The July box will feature the brand berlin skin and will have a face cream and eye cream, but no oils or serums!
