All the items are neatly packed inside the box!
The box comes with a tri-fold booklet.
The theme this month is NEMESIS DX!
The booklet gives you a list of all the items in the box. It’s super sturdy and has a nice premium feel.
Everything in my box!
Samurai Jack Pin. For this month, we are starting off with a pin that features Aku, the Master of Darkness and also Samurai Jack’s arch-enemy.
Aku is a shape-shifting demon who took over the world and even ruled it for countless eons. The pin presents us his humanoid form, a black body with a red beard, green mouth, four long and two short horns, and flaming eyebrows.
Back to the Future Part II Cards and Chip Set. The main antagonist of Back to the Future, Biff Howard Tannen, is the model for this set of chips and cards!
It’s a Loot Crate exclusive item, as indicated at the bottom of the sturdy box.
The set is nicely arranged inside the box, and the deck of cards even came in another box.
Each color of the poker chips corresponds to an amount of cash: the red one is worth $55, black is worth $85, and the blue one having the lowest equivalent which is $15.
The deck of cards, of course, came with a complete 52-piece set plus 2 joker cards, and a 2019-2020 calendar.
Metal Gear Solid Hat. Two oldies but goodies from past boxes are back in this box, and the first one is a cap that is inspired by the action-adventure stealth video game Metal Gear. The cap features a huge exclamation point embroidered in the middle. It first appeared in the December 2017 Loot Gaming box.
I turned the cap around to see the bottom part, and this is what I found, an alert warning danger level 99.99! That’s a nice touch from the game and a great addition to the cap.
Space Invaders Vinyl Figure. The second past item is the Space Invaders vinyl figure. It’s actually the third time I’m receiving this. It first came out in January 2016 Loot Crate, and the second time I received it is from Loot Gaming February 2018 box.
There are 3 available colors of this figure, as indicated on the box, but I still got the same purple-blue one.
Yes, it’s cute, but it’ll be greatly appreciated if they sent me at least a different color. For a third timer who receives the same figure, I should have completed all three!
Ghostbusters Kitchen Towel. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man looks really angry on this towel, and it looks like he’s the receiving end of a proton pack that’s why he’s melting!
He looks angry and kind of scary! Still, this towel is handy when drying off kitchenwares or wiping off stains and spills in the kitchen.
Dark Phoenix Long Sleeve Shirt. Becky Cloonan, the artist behind the art on this shirt, did a very good representation of the most dynamic X-Men ever, the Dark Phoenix!
Jean Grey, being the Dark Phoenix, unleashes a power that is just too much to handle. We can see fire and life incarnate herself on this shirt. Maybe I’ll feel too powerful wearing this!
Just like what’s on Jean’s suit as the powerful being, a phoenix symbol is also printed at the back of the shirt, below the neckline.
In animations, comics, or movies, the stories of the superheroes won’t be as much interesting if not for their adversaries! They may be annoying, irritating, and even infuriating, but without them, there won’t be conflicts that the heroes need to deal with. In short, they make the story even more engrossing. I like the Dark Phoenix shirt as it looks really powerful, and her character really gets me baffled, if I’m going to love or hate her. The old items are okay, I just really want another color on the Space Invaders figure, while the cap is still very useful. I love the thought that the curators put into this box, there are still lovable antagonists even if they cause nothing but trouble, right? That’s how I’m feeling about Loot Crate now, but with the delays, they are less than lovable!

Thank you for putting that warning note in your review. You should put that on all your new Loot Crate reviews because this company is now operating like a ponzi scheme, where they make promises but don’t deliver. It would be irresponsible not to warn new customers. It’s a shame, because they have so many great IPs (Marvel, Fallout, LotR, etc.) and did so well up until the last year and a half.
