Gramma in a Box is a monthly subscription for kids (from a real Grandma!) that sends homemade cookies with frosting and sprinkles along with two easy candy crafts to make at least 15-20 edible treats.

<DEAL:  Get $5 off when you signup for a 3 month or longer plan! Use coupon code 5OFF.

The items arrived in a red box with a Gramma in a Box sticker.

The kit shows up bundled neatly together under some cute red polka dots tissue.

It is secured using another Gramma In A Box sticker.

All the items come in separate plastic containers.

Also included in the box is a little welcoming note. This month’s box is all about Cookies and Candy.

Flip the card and you’ll find a list of all the items in the box, as well as items you will need from your home.

Every month, 3 projects are included in the box. This month, we are going to do Patriotic Cookie Decorating, Golden Peanut Bites, and Sparkler Pretzel Rods. Each of the cards has step by step instructions with a few images.

At the back of each card, you can see the ingredients for each of the recipes, and they also include the potential allergens.

This is the box upon opening! You just have to remember — no snacking on the craft supplies!

First Project: Sparkler Pretzel Rods. For this project, the crate provided honey twist pretzel rods, multi-colored sprinkles, and melting chocolate. To melt the chocolate, put them in a microwave-safe bowl, heat in the microwave on high for 1 minute, stir with the spoon, and repeat for another 15 seconds until the chocolate is melted.

The kids laid the ingredients on a wax paper sheet while waiting for the chocolate to melt.

The first project is as easy as pie! You just need to dip each rod into the melted white chocolate until it’s half-covered and then add sprinkles.

Voila! Here are my kids’ Sparkler Pretzel Rods and they’re all looking so good!

Second Project: Golden Peanut Bites. For the second project, we used nuts, sprinkles, waffle pretzels, and paper cups from the crate.

We used the remaining melted chocolate for this project and added the nuts in it for a nutty surprise!

After putting one waffle pretzel on each paper cup, put the chocolate and nuts mix on top, and then add sprinkles.

They came out a bit messy, but they were fun to make and they still tasted so good!

Third Project: Patriotic Cookie Decorating. Last is a cookie decorating project! We got cookies in different shapes, sprinkles, and frostings in blue, red, and white.

My son decorated the rectangular cookie to make it look like our flag!

All these projects made a great bonding time for our family!

We love the colors, definitely patriotic!

Seeing all their finished projects made the kids fulfilled! They’re also happy that they get to munch on it after!

It’s another fun-filled box! We absolutely enjoyed this month’s projects from Gramma In A Box, which are all July 4th-themed. All the ingredients are provided and the cards listed the step-by-step procedure, so you can start right away. The edible crafts are simple and easy to make even for the kids. All they really need help with is melting the chocolate in the microwave, but the rest they can do on their own. We’re quite pleased with this subscription! If your kids also love edible crafts, you might want to try this one!
