My items were shipped in a white box with no additional cushioning.

All but one of my items were tucked into a plastic bag.

Allure is a magazine so they produce a mini-magazine with all the featured items in the box.

The magazine lists each product, the MSRP of the full-sized product, and where you can find more. Plus, you can find some discount codes for a future purchase.

NOTE: Allure sometimes sends several box versions so your mini-magazine and products (and value) may differ from mine. The three items on the right were variants so subscribers received only one of those products.

This was the first time they had “bonus content from Allure” and I appreciated the tips on how to use the spray. I wasn’t sure why they had info on brows but then I realized that some subscribers received a brow product in their box.

The magazine also tells you how you can use the products in the box. The items in the July box were chosen by Huda Kattan and included 3 products from her own line.

Everything in my box!

Since January Allure has included a cheap plastic bag. This one has a flap but honestly I have no use for these as they don’t really hold much. I did like the pink color though.

There was a discount code for the Huda website. The code was listed on the back of the card.

There was a scratch off card letting me know what is coming next month. I won’t spoil the surprise but click here to see what’s coming!

TONYMOLY Intense Care Snail Hydrogel Mask ($8) TonyMoly is a very popular Korean beauty brand so I was happy to see one of their masks in this box. It has snail mucous as an ingredient and some say it has anti-aging and skin healing properties. Apply to a clean face, sit back with your feet up for 30 minutes, and then rub any remaining essence into skin afterwards.

Kayali Vanilla Fragrance ($1.04) comes from Huda’s fragrance line. At first I thought this reminded me of Cody’s Vanilla Fields (remember that one from the ’90’s?) but then I tried it again a few days later and loved it.

It has notes of tonka, brown sugar, and musk along with vanilla and is warm, sweet, and very nice for summer and fall alike.

Ouai Texturizing Hair Spray ($12) You would think my fine hair would like this but it didn’t really do anything other than make my bathroom smell really, really good. I don’t have any natural wave to my hair so it couldn’t enhance what isn’t there but it also didn’t leave behind a crunchy feeling so others with wavy hair might like this.

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer ($4.02) Subscribers received one of three variant items and I received this primer.

It has coconut water and probiotics to help hydrate and brighten the skin. It doesn’t have dimethicone so it doesn’t have the usual “dry” texture that I get with traditional primers. It has a light fruity fragrance that fades as soon as you apply and my skin looked bright all day long.

Huda Beauty Samantha Lashes ($20) I have never worn fake lashes before so this is a miss for me personally but my daughter was ecstatic to receive these so I happily passed them along.

These are supposed to be universally flattering and included instructions on how to apply and trim to fit etc. I was disappointed to see that glue is sold separately so keep that in mind if you are saving them for a special occasion so you won’t be left without a way to apply.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in Alluring ($20) Everyone will receive this product in the July box!

It is a full-sized lippie in an exclusive shade just for Allure Beauty Box subscribers.

It is supposed to be long-lasting and dries to a matte finish.

The shade is a red-orange and should look good on a variety of skin tones.

Here it is swatched. It is bright and my daughter claimed this item as well, but not before I tried it out! It did last a long time and I was able to apply it so that it wasn’t too bright for my tastes and yes, it looked good with my pale skin. Just dot it on and spread with a lip brush. You can apply it full (like the swatch above) but don’t say I didn’t warn you!

I always think Allure sends a pretty cool assortment of products and although I didn’t know much about Huda I did enjoy trying her products. A primer is always a nice item to have around and the face mask is a relaxing item for an evening of self care. I had high hopes for the spray but it just didn’t work for my hair type, but then nothing really works for my hair type and at least I got to try it just in case! The value for the July box was around $65.06!
